Dr. Adam was born and raised in northern Utah. He graduated from Weber High School and went on to complete his undergraduate studies at Weber State University. He attended dental school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Adam completed a pediatric dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, with additional training at Childrens Medical Center Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. He is proud to be a Board Certified pediatric dentist who helps kids develop healthy, beautiful smiles.
Following all of his schooling, Dr. Adam proudly served eight years of active duty in the United States Army. He was stationed throughout the United States, as well as a tour of duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom. To ensure he provides the most innovative and up-to-date care for your kids, Dr. Bushell maintains active membership in the following professional organizations: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the International Association for Dental Traumatology.
Dr. Erik Rooklidge is a native of Utah and grew up in Bountiful. He loves working with children and watching them grow up. His priority is giving your little ones a pleasant experience so theyll form a positive association with the dentist for years to come! Dr. Rooklidge received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah and then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Iowa in 2001. Additionally, he completed two years of specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center/Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Rooklidge is a Board Certified pediatric dentist who can care for all children, including those with special needs. He dedicates himself to providing the best dental care possible for his patients, ensuring they have a comfortable and fun experience while learning to care for their own oral health. To keep up with the latest innovations in dental care, Dr. Rooklidge is a member of the following professional organizations: the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association. Jamie was with us when Eagle Mountain Childrens Dentistry opened in 2019, but has been working with Dr. Rooklidge and Dr. Bushell since she graduated from the Premier Dental Assisting School in 2014. She worked as a dental assistant for five years before moving up to be our office manager. She helps the practice run smoothly and makes sure the needs of the team and our patients are met. She is one of the first people patients see when walking in, and she makes sure to always have a smile on her face when she meets them. Jamie loves her job and everyone she works with and gets to meet!
Carla is part of our front office and has been with us since September 2020. Her favorite part of her job is the people she gets to work with, and she always tries to go above and beyond with everything she does. She wants to make sure patients are happy and comfortable with bringing their children in.
Carmen has been with our team since 2013 and loves working here! She enjoys how kind, welcoming and patient everyone is, especially the doctors, who make you feel like family and are always helping you improve. She is dedicated to helping make something as scary as the dentist for a child be easy and actually enjoyable.
Kari joined the practice when we opened back in 2019, but she has been working with Dr. Rooklidge since 2003 and has been a dental assistant for over 30 years! She originally graduated high school in 1987 and has been a trained dental assistant since 1989 and a certified X-ray technician since 1999. She loves her job and the people she works with; they are like a family and work really well together. She enjoys keeping things at the office clean and organized, and she always makes sure to talk to kids on their level and make sure they understand.
Nadine is the newest addition to our team, having joined us in 2021. She loves all of her coworkers and the beautiful office, as well as our patients! She strives to give patients the best possible dental experience.
Nadine was born and raised in Arizona but now lives in Eagle Mountain with her husband of two years. She loves to cook, paint and garden, and she enjoys spending time in the mountains with her husband and dog.

They charged me and my insurance hundreds of dollars for work on a tooth. All that work fell out two years later, they told me the work is only warrantied for one year and I am now out of luck.

I'm very pleased with Eagle Mountain Children's Dentistry. I love how bright and welcoming it is and how kid friendly it is. The staff is very welcoming and made sure my daughter was taken care of. The dentist and dental assistant were very patient with her and made sure she was comfortable during our visit. They answered any questions I had and were very nice.

They were so good with my feisty toddler very timid five year old and prioritized my kid's comfort over getting everything checked off, which as a dentist-wary adult, I appreciated. The whole office was friendly and competent and overall we all had a great time.

We travel all the way from Spanish fork Canyon because this office is just that amazing! The staff are all sweet and accommodating. Dr. Bushell makes sure that that kids aren't nervous and he walks us through everything. His bedside manner is the best!!! I would recommend this office hands down 10 stars!

Such a fun, kid friendly office! We just took my 2 year old in for her first visit. She was very apprehensive, and both the hygienist and dentist were very helpful, never pushing her to do anything traumatic. We did a quick exam and they answered all our questions! We will be back!

My daughter is almost 3 and has a hard time with doctors visits so you can imagine the dentist right The first time she went they where so patient with her and did a great job at answering all my questions. Well this time (her second visit) she got up in the chair and watched her show and let them look really good at her teeth! No tears or complaints She hasn't stopped telling me how much she loves the dentist she keeps telling me we need to go back. This is huge for her and I'm grateful for the amazing atmosphere the staff brings! highly recommend

Yesterday my 3 year old had to get his front tooth pulled. Our dentist and dental assistant did a great job at helping my son to feel comfortable. They gave him prizes before the procedure and turned on his favorite tv show. The dentist was good at answering my questions and being efficient. My son usually has anxiety about doctor and dental appointments but they really helped him to not feel scared. I'm very happy with our experience!

My kids had a wonderful experience! Everyone was nice, helpful and comforting. My son usually does not like laying in the chair and will want to sit with me but he did everything this time! We love going to Eagle Mountain Children's Dentistry!

Everyone has been really nice and of course patient with all 3 of my kiddos. I never thought my kids needed a pediatric dentist but it has definitely helped them be more relaxed when needing to visit the dentist for anything. They seem to be a little more gentle to their little mouths. Grateful we have this place to take care of our kiddos teeth needs and even better that it's so close to home!

This dentist is kid and teen friendly!!! They were awesome with my daughter who is usually extremely shy (12 and acts like 18)! Anyone who is a little apprehensive, go to this dentist! They are great great great!!!

I was so frustrated after my first visit with the kids here! I was searching out a dentist that would be good with kids and make it fun because my son had a bad experience at a different dentist and this was my daughter's very first time! But they did not attempt to make it fun or help her when she was having a hard time. They just told me to hold her down! I couldnt believe it! A pediatric dentist should put in extra work to make sure kids have a good experience and aren't traumatized. But I don't feel like the people we worked with even tried!

I really want to thank all the staff from the receptionist for being so patient and so nice to the nurse for also being so patient and nice to my children . The dentist did amazing job and my children didn't feel scared or nervous . I love the great service and the way all the staff manger Everything. Everyone was so friendly and so welcoming. I could safely say this is the best lids dentist my kids ever gone too.

If your kids have sensory disorders, bring them here! This is where I've brought my daughter her whole life (she's 3). It was a typical kids dentist office; clean, super nice dentists/assistants, play area in the waiting room, fish tanks, TV's on the ceiling, etc., but we dread the dentist. It's scary anyway but when you factor in all the bright lights, loud whirring of the tools, and the claustrophobia of someone poking around in your mouth with a child with sensory processing issues, it always makes it an exhausting day for all of us. Recently they introduced headphones and sunglasses. My daughter who struggles with sensory issues and has always been terrified of the dentist, was able to sit and cooperate through the entire appointment (albeit still terrified, but I don't blame her. The dentist is freaky). She wasn't overloaded by the noises of the tools or the bright lights, and was able to focus on her show while they checked out her teeth. It's hard helping your child navigate through these super sensory overloaded situations, that most people don't think of or accommodate for, so when people make it easier for both you and your kids, it means so much and helps us so much. Y'all made my mama heart so happy. (Seriously, I teared up in the car lol) Thanks EMCD!

I brought my 19 month old son in for his first dentist appointment. My son hates brushing his teeth so I wasn't sure how he would do with the dentist. The dentist did so well with my son. By the time my son started to cry, it was already over. Then my son was handed a ball from the prize box which instantly made him so happy. He was in such a good mood the rest of the day playing with his new ball. I'm so glad I found a good dentist for my son. The dental hygienist and the office ladies are also very nice and helpful too.
