Dr. Thomason received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida in 2008. Prior to dental school, he received aBachelors degree from BYU-Idaho in biology. There he earned multiple academic scholarships and honors. After dental school he served a humanitarian mission bringing dental relief tothe Dominican Republic.
Dr. Thomason maintains active memberships in the American Dental Association, Idaho State Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. He actively participates in continued education courses and learning comprehensive dental care techniques so his patients can receive the quality care they deserve. He greatly values his patients and their trust and his dental philosophy is to treat patients as family. His goal is to have a conservative approach helping his patients achieve optimal oral health. He has been practicing dentistry in the Boise and Meridian area for 12 years and is now very excited to be serving the Eagle Idaho community.
Dr. Thomason and his wife, Meredith, both grew up in Rexburg, Idaho. They have three beautiful children, ages 3, 6 and 8, who keep them very busy and always having fun. Dr. Thomason enjoys camping, motorbiking, fly fishing, and archery.
Shannon has two biological children and three bonus kids with her husband Ryan. They love to go on motorcycle rides and enjoy the beautiful Idaho scenery. Ryan and Shannon also volunteer for the security team at their church. Shannon loves to go thrifting, enjoys crafting and most of all being with her family and their pets. (Nyx-dog, Milo-cat and Franklin-hamster).
Hygiene Coordinator Sara is an Idaho Native and has been in the dental field for 10 years. She graduated from Apollo College and has a certificate in Dental Assisting. She has been doing front office for 4 years and loves getting to know the patients and their families at Eagle Dental Care. Sara enjoys Yoga, reading and the beautiful outdoors. She spends her time outside paddle boarding, biking, hiking and camping. She is a cheer mom superstar and loves to watch her daughter cheerlead at Idaho Cheer. Sara really loves working and having fun with her team at Eagle Dental Care.
Brenda was born and raised in Boise. She attended and graduated from the BSU dental assisting program in 1992 and immediately began working with Dr. Courtial. Brenda has three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys hiking, paddle-boarding, reading, swimming and watching sports in her spare time.
Brenda has loved working for Dr. Courtial for the last 25 years. As Brenda is sad to see Dr. Courtial retire, she is excited about the opportunity to work with Dr. Thomason. She looks forward to continuing with the practice, the patients, and her team of best friends.
Nikki was born and raised in Canyon Lake, California. Nikki obtained her Masters degree in Science for Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern California (USC). She has been in the dental field since 2011 and is passionate about dental hygiene.
