I love being a dentist. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people, and the friendships that I've built with my patients and their families are one in a million. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home when they come to me for treatment and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.

I see each new client as a unique individual, with their own special set of circumstances. This is enjoyable for me, as I use my education and experience of many years to offer and carry out treatment plans that are special for each person at various times of their life. It is so rewarding to address dental health needs, particularly when we make significant and impactful changes.

My education in dentistry has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. I received a bachelor degree in Psychology from the University of MassachusettsBoston, where I also worked as a peer conselor. There, I found the importance of 'active listening' what I was being told and processing it appropriately. Another important lesson was that I cared enough to leave the field. I have always loved art in any form. Dentistry fullfilled my artistic needs, as well as the hard science, with tangible goals and visible results that were sometimes lacking in psychology. But my passion for psychology does help me meet the needs that can sometimes accompany dentistry, such as anxiety, fear and stress. The gratification of knowing I could touch someone 's lfie and help improve their self-confidence and happiness is at the heart of the charm I find in dentistry. I am compassionate, love dentistry and what it can do. I have been practicing since 1996. As a Boston University graduate, I practiced in Boston with a super all-female practice until I moved to Tucson in 2001. I was awarded the Altshuler Family Award in recognition of high ethical standards, compassion and caring interpersonal relations with patients, fellow students and teachers. I have also beenselected as a 'Top Dentist' in Tucson for many consecutive years based on high patient satisfaction and excellent outcomes. I really appreciate the chance to offer my expertise in caring for your dental needs.

By regularly participating in continuing education, I am aware of the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results. I am a member of several professional associations that provide me with opportunities for continuing education, including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association and Southern Arizona Dental Society.

Dr. Doug McMaster practiced restorative dentistry in Tucson since 1981. After obtaining a degree in chemistry at the University of Arizona, he attended the University of the Pacific to complete his formal dental education, and graduatedwith aDoctorate of Dental Surgery.

His skills were continually and significantly enhanced by attending programs at the Pankey Institute, Seattle Institute, and Kois Center. Dr. McMaster held a career-long membership in the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, and the Southern Arizona Dental Society, as well as in the Academy of General Dentistry, from which hereceived a fellowship award. Healso maintained constant membershipin the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2007, heattained Sustaining membership in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistryby passing a rigorous examination.Up until his retirement, he served as a Mentorat the Kois Center in Seattle. Since the early 2000s, he alsoserved on the Arizona Council for Dental Education, including as chair of the council, which helpsbring the highest level of continuing education to the dentists of Arizona. In 2007, Dr. McMasterwas named Dentist of the Yearby the Arizona Dental Association.

Dr. Swidler received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois and was a graduate of the University of Illinois Dental School in Chicago in 1972. After two years of clinical and private practice in Chicago, Swidler relocated to Tucson in 1974. Here, he entered a deeply committed educational direction to become a pioneer in holistic and integrative approaches.

Dr. Steven Swidler has practiced holistic, mercury free (amalgam silver filling-free) and mercury safe dentistry since 1976. Heintegratesa balanced mix of traditional dentistry with naturopathic, homeopathic and alternative treatment modalities.

I have been in the dental field since 2014.I graduated with a bachelors degree in biomedical sciences from The University of Arizona, where I was part of the pre-dental student board. Im currently continuing my education and pursuing a degree in dental hygiene. I love giving back to the community and volunteer in events such as HopeFest and Give Kids a Smile.

I graduated from Dental Assisting school in 2002. With just2 years inI waspulled up to Front Office and have loved it ever since. Welcome to our office, my name is Ramona Solis. It is with great pleasure and responsibility that I compassionately serve my patients. As a practicing registered hygienist for seventeen years, I take great pride in creating a caring and comforting experience for my patients.

In 2001 I graduated with honors and garnered numerous clinical excellence awards with an associate of science in dental hygiene. My passion and commitment to ongoing continuing education allow me the privilege to pursue the latest modalities of care to meet my patients' needs. I believe a healthy smile is a foundation to complete body health.

Coming from Medicine Wheel Dental out in the desert to thisnew beautiful location has been a transition Dr. Swidler imagined for many years. It has been truly wonderful to greet each of my patients from our previous office and to meet many new clients as well. My love of learning keeps me abreast of the newest research in regard to dental hygiene and other health-related topics. My love of teaching has taken me back to the Pima Community College Dental Hygiene program, as adjunct faculty I guide the new students into their exciting new career.

My favorite activitiesinclude yoga, teaching yoga, hiking, and walking my dogs. I love to spend time with my family and they joinme in many of these activities. My three dogs include two terriers and a pit bull, all rescues.
