Ever since I was a little girl, I have been coming to Cora and Roland's dentist office! They are amazing and so are there staff. For the past 18 years I've never gone to another Dentist. I trust Cora and Roland, they are not your average dentist's. They are extremely helpful and honest. You can't find this anymore, there more like a family which I truly appreciate since I know I'm in good hands.
Dr. Roland Elazegui earned his DMD degree from De Ocampo Memorial College, Manila Philippines in 1984. Dr. Elazegui has over 25 years experience and is trained in all aspects of general, cosmetic, and smile design, simple orthodontics, and the diagnosis and treatment of occlusal disease.
Dr. Elazegui is proud to have completed his first cosmetic and smile design certification at the UOP Dental School in 1999. He has completed the continuum at the prestigious LA Institute of Clinical Dentistry on Cosmetic, Implants, and Advance Dental Studies on Occlusal Disease. Dr. Elazegui completed his mini-residency in orthodontics at USC. He is also an Invisalign provider and achieved certification on Laser Dentistry from the Academy of Laser Dentistry.
At home and in his spare time, Dr. Elazegui is a handyman in every way. From the electricity, to the yard, to water filtration systemsthe family has never had to call for help because he can fix almost everything! Most of the people who know him call him MacGyver.
You cant have Roland without his motorcycle. He enjoys riding his motorcycle as much as he enjoys making improvements and modifications to it. Not only will he take his wheels out for a spin on a nice day, hell ride it to far distances to take dental classes and seminar (such Las Vegas, Los Angeles, or Palm Springs) just to enjoy the ride.
This man is an avid learner as well. Hes always looking for the next thing to make him grow whether it be from inspirational videos, how to videos / tips and tricks for repairing or building things. Hell even watch and read Dental books while on vacation! If hes not buried in some new learning material, hell have fun watching action movies on Netflix.
Awesome clean environment and everyone is super friendly. Dr. Elazegui is quite the joker which makes funny and interesting conversation. When doing his procedures, he is always asking if you are comfortable and tells you what he is doing so you understand, which is a big plus! Cora and all the staff make you feel very comfortable and its very easy to talk to them...I feel like I can talk to anyone on the team with my teeth concerns and they do their very best to explain and make you feel confident in their methods. Although the drive is a bit long, driving from Davis, CA, it is definitely worth it due to the friendly environment, staff, and caring dentist!
