Dr. Karen Runde is originally from Sumner, IA and a graduate of Loras College and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She is dedicated to providing quality comprehensive dental care to all ages and treating each patient with kindness and compassion. It is her goal to build a trusting relationship with every patient in which their individual goals and treatment needs will be met. Dr. Runde is passionate about keeping up with todays technology and advances through continued education in various studies of dentistry.
Dr Runde treasures her roles as a wife to her husband Nathan and mom to three wonderfully busy children Everly (8 yrs), Maxwell (6 yrs) and Luella (3 yr). She enjoys baking, reading, gardening and traveling. As a family they look forward to making the Dyersville community their home.
Our hygienist Mary Lynne brings over 20 years of dental experience to our Dyersville Family Dentistry team. She loves interacting with and getting to know her patients and there is nothing more gratifying to her than educating and helping patients overcome their dental fears. Mary Lynne strives to ensure our patients always feel 100% informed and comfortable during their visit. We are lucky to have such a gentle and qualified team member.
Mary Lynne is originally from Cascade, Iowa and currently lives in Farley, Iowa with her husband Jeff and their three daughters Hailey, Katelyn and Josie. Outside the office Mary Lynne loves spending time with family and friends and watching her daughters at their various sporting events.
Sarah brings over ten years of dental experience to our team. She completed her education at Hawkeye Community College in both dental assisting and Dental Hygiene. Sarah loves getting to know patients and educating them on the importance of good oral hygiene for optimal health and strives to make sure our patients always feel comfortable during their dental visits.
Sarah is originally from Elkader, Iowa and currently lives on an acreage north of Manchester with her husband Blake and three children Briella, Beau and Brynlee. They are welcoming their fourth child late this summer. She loves spending time with their families, reading, and being active in the outdoors. Sarah looks forward to serving the community of Dyersville.
Kayla grew up in Dyersville, but currently lives outside of Farley on an acreage with her husband Dustin and two dogs, Duke and Macie. Kayla graduated from Kirkwood Community College with her Dental Assisting degree in December 2017 and got her Expanded Functions in March of 2018. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on the river, and going to concerts.
Angie has over 20 years of experience in the dental field as a certified and registered dental assistant. She graduated from Northeast Iowa Community College in 1998 from the dental assisting program. She enjoys getting to know patients of all ages, along with educating and discussing the importance of their dental treatment that Dr. Runde will provide at Dyersville Family Dentistry.
Angie lives in Manchester with her husband Kurt, and their 2 children Spencer and Erin. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies, and attending her childrens sporting events.
Kori and her husband, Jamey, live in Dyersville. They have 2 children, Ali and Michael, and 3 Grandchildren, Ayden, Bryce, and Cecylia. Kori enjoys camping, cooking, taking day trips and spending time with family and friends.
Kristin is originally from Waterloo, but currently resides in Petersburg with her husband, Doug and their four children Kelsie, Chloe, Derek and Chase. She enjoys long walks, playing kickball, singing, baking, getting together with friends, and making memories with family.

I drive an hour to see Dr. Runde and her beautiful staff. They are all so kind, gentle and compassionate and really helped calm my anxiety and fears of having dental work done. After 10 or more years of not taking care of myself, they have truly made a difference in my smile and confidence. I look forward to my visits! Thank you!

The dentist isn't my favorite place to go but Dr. Runde and her staff are warm, welcoming and make the experience a positive one. Dr. Runde is very skilled yet the least bit intimidating. She explains things well and takes her time with each patient. I didn't feel a thing!

Great experience! Started with Kori and taking care of checking in on my insurance and making it super easy to get my first appointment. Then to the staff and Dr Runde for making it very comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great dentist experience!

Very gentle. Great staff. Highly recommend and this is coming from a guy who has been to several different dental offices and has had a lot of dental work done. Usually I cringe just for cleanings but when I left there my whole mouth/gums didn't hurt. Well worth it!

Was very impressed with Dyersville Family Dentistry. The facility was clean and updated, with the newest equipment. All the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Very gentle and knowledgeable. Very thorough and educate you through the whole experience. Very happy choosing this as my new dentist!

Beautiful practice filled with kind professionals. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating as I had two children with me. The hygienist allowed my son to be an active part of my cleaning to decrease his fears and Dr. Runde did an excellent job with him! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
