Josette Rang is a certified and registered dental assistant and earned her degree from Washtenaw community college in Ann Arbor, MI. Josette is a Standish native and started as a intern with Dr Dwan in 2000 and has assisted ever since. Her compassionate skills make patients feel comfortable and she enjoys working with the public. Josette was married in 2005 and some of her interests include fishing with her husband, running and scrapbooking.
Chris is a certified and registered dental assistant who earned her degree at Ferris State University. Chris has worked in the dental field for over 35 years and lives in Standish with her husband Dan. They have one daughter, Hannah and a grandson, Rhyatt. In her free time Chris enjoys traveling, boating, reading and most of all spending time with her grandson.
Riley is a Registered Dental Assistant who earned her degree from Delta College. She started as a intern with Dr. Dwan and was hired in the summer of 2021. She applies her skills in all areas of the dental office, working at the front desk as well as assisting Doctor clinically. Riley is engaged to her high school sweet heart Joseph and lives in Pinconning. They are expecting a baby boy named Greyson in May of 2022! Riley enjoys being outdoors, fishing, kayaking, side by siding, snowmobiling, camping, boating and playing with her two dogs.
Lisa received her Dental Hygiene degree and local anesthesia certificate from Delta College in 2004. She has been working with Dr. Dwan since graduation while keeping abreast on her dental continuing education. Lisas professionalism and compassion contribute to making her a great team member and hygienist. Lisa married her husband Cale in 2004 and they reside in AuGres. The twins, Walker and Elena are now 10 and keep her busy with many extracurricular activities. In her free time she enjoys traveling, camping, boating, running and spending time with family and friends.
Meghan joined our team in 2019 and is a graduate of Ferris State University. She graduated with her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene in 2013. She enjoys creating a comfortable atmosphere for her patients while providing quality care. Meghan lives in Bay City with her husband Tom and their twin boys Bo and Rory. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors with her boys, crafting and spending time with her extended family.
Dr. Andrew Dwan received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in 1992 and received his DDS degree from The University of Michigan in 1996. While in dental school, he was awarded research grants from the National Institute of Health to study various dental materials. He has given presentations at the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as well as the America Association of Dental Research. Dr. Dwan is a member of the American Dental Association and theAcademy of General Dentistry and exceeds the mandated amount of continuing education set forth by the state of Michigan.
Dr. Dwan and his wife Kathy were married in 1998 and have since been blessed with four wonderful children; Andrew, Mary Katherine, Molly and Meghan. In his free time, Dr. Dwan enjoys running marathons and playing hockey and soccer. His charitable dentistry includes working with the Mission of Mercy in Michigan, Donated Dental services located in Arenac County, and working with HELPS International in Guatemala and Manos de Jesus in Chichicastenango, Guatemala.

I had a tooth abscess. Couldn't get in to see Dr Dwan. I went to my PCP for antibiotics because my face was very swollen, I had a fever and severe pain. After starting antibiotics I tried to schedule an appointment again with Dr Dwan. I was told he had no openings until June. If your an established patient and having a dental emergency your dentist should see you no matter what. Dr Dwan is very uncaring and had no compassion. Instead of taking vacations all the time he should take care of his patients. Especially in an emergency situation. Very disappointed with my care there. He caters to the well known in the community who have money only. Shame on you.

The best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Very nice and clean office, very nice and professional staff, and a great dentist who treats you like a person and not a number. Also, the fastest and least (zero) pain ive ever had getting a filling. Will be back.

I was treated very well, and I got done what I expected. My nurse or what ever ya call the women that's in the room before the doctor comes in was fantastic. He's now my new Dentist!! I'll Be Back!!!! :)

He severely grounded my tooth because he said it was infected and needed to come out, then when it tilted inward taking three teeth with it I went to him expecting relief with the serious discomfort created by the teeth that were now lying under my tongue, but he was adamant that he did not cause this (would four teeth just suddenly fall inward including the one that he had mutilated) and he wanted a second opinion. No help from him, just find a competent dentist and pay thousands of dollars to correct a problem that was created by his incompetence. At my age I never expected to be wearing braces.
