As a dentist, the long-term relationships I build with my patients is the most important part of my career. These relationships are built on trust and understanding of not only their dental concerns, but the connection with my fellow patients at a human level.It is fulfilling to be part of their lives, as they are part of mine, while we work together to achieve and maintain dental health and their smile goals.

Another amazing part of being a dentist, for me, is seeing younger patients grow up and helping them build good habits for a lifetime of oral health. The honesty and wonder of young minds continue to fill me with awe and I handle the trust parents have placed in me to care for their children very seriously. Because of this, I believe always in a positive and rewarding visit, so the child associates the dentist to be a happy place to be.

Along the same lines as making dental visits happy for children, I find it equally important for adults. One way I go about achieving this is by first listening and then empowering patients with the knowledge to understand their unique dental situation. I help my patients identify the etiology of their concern, find solutions, and ultimately achieve a functional and beautiful smile for them.

Our team members are kind and loving with a wealth of knowledge coupled with unparalleled dedication to their work. They are an extension of me and my vision to provide excellent and thoughtful dental care in the gentlest manner possible. In addition to being the graudate of the #1 dental school in the United States (and 4th in the world),I am also a graduate of a post-graduate program at UCLA and the prestigous Kois Center in Seattle, WA. I was born in Taiwan and move to Oregon when I was 7 years old. I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon, and have made Washington my home for the last 10 years. My husband and I share our home with our Shetland Sheepdogs:Butters, Keebler, and CeCe, as well as our Beta fish, Bubbles.

Outside of the office, I enjoy weight lifting, cycling, skiing, yoga, nutrition and gardening. I also like baking paleo banana bread, exploring new restaurants, and learning about human psychology. Currently, I am working on perfecting giving the husband haircuts at homeand teaching my grandmother how to use the Facebook Portal to video conference with her grandchildren and great gradchildren.

Originally from the Midwest, I graduated from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 1993 and have enjoyed providing comprehensive dental carein Redmond since 1998. Moving my home from Redmond to Lake Joy in 2013, I am excited to bring my practice to Duvall! Integration of digital dental technologies of CEREC CAD/CAM crowns and Invisalign clear alignres helps me realize the vision of providing the healthy smiles my patients desire and deserve!

Melissa is our registered dental assistant whose smile and genuine laughter illuminates the whole office. Her warm and compassionate nature allows her to work closely with patients whileeasing any apprehensions. Melissa is an integral part of the team, as she will brighten up your day when she greets you with, 'Hi!'

Jessica joined our team in 2015 as a registered dental assistant. Having been a patient at our office first, Jessica knows firsthand how important dental health is to ones well-being. Educating patients in her down-to-earth manner makes understanding dental conditions and options easy. She brings laughter to the office and will make you feel at home the moment you meet her.

What I love most about being a dental assistant is helping people improve their smile and making kids LOVE the dentist. It is so great to work in the same town as I live in. It makes it extra special to see friends and people around the community.

Kaira is our board-certified registered dental hygienist, and a local of Duvall. Her gentle nature and caring presence allows her to connect with her patients. We are delighted to call Kaira a team member because she brings with her a pleasant and calm demeanor that puts everyone at ease.

What I enjoy most about being a dental hygienist is building trusting relationships with my patients while improving their oral health. I love easing my patients fears through gentle and personalized care while getting to know each other. When I am not working, I love crafting, spending time with my family and friends, and playing with my dog Riley.

Deanne joins us with 30 years of dental hygiene expereince. Her easy-going and thoughtful nature translates into making her patients feel connected to and cared for. Coupled with her skills, she's able to provide a tailored experience for patients.Originally fromHonolulu, HI, she has lived and raised two daughters in Duvall since 1995. Her and her husband also havetwo cats, Maddox and Lucy to keep them company.

Kristie grew up in rural Minnesota and after spending some time on the east coast after high school, moved to the Duvall area in early 2013. Kristie grew up with horses and has been very involved in horse sports since middle school; in addition to family members involved with dentistry, she credits her time spent with an orthodontist and two dental hygienists at horse shows every weekend for sparking her interest in the dental field. Kristie has also spent extensive time assisting and learning from an equine veterinary dentist about equine dentistry. Moving to Washington serendipitously put Kristie in the path of several more dental professionals; at the time she was supporting her horse habit by bartending, but in 2016 she decided to pursue a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene, graduating with honors from Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2021.

I have a wide range of interests and in addition to horses and dentistry, I am fascinated with aviation; I have been a flight attendant since 2017 and I am currently pursuing a private pilot license. My other hobbies include hiking, yoga, travel, reading, and video games. I currently have two horses, Isis and Kate, and share my home with my fiance Dan and our four birds Kevin, Blue, Pepe, and Buffles. I am excited to be a part of Duvall Family Dental and can't wait to get to know all of the wonderful patientshere!

Shanna is long-time residentof Duvall who has been in the dental field for more than 25 years. With her experience and thoroughness, shell make sure your dental visit is a thoughtful and pleasant experience from the moment you call.

I enjoy my work because I get to use my easygoing personality to help patients work through the road blocks they may have. This way, they feel comfortable at the dental office and get the care they deserve. On my free time, I love going horseback riding and to sporting events with my family. I am a huge Husky fan!

Anna joined our team in 2018 and since then, became a local Duvallian herself. Her degreein finance makes her a knowlegable financial coordinator. Coupled with her friendly, can-doattitude, she makes understanding insurance matters easy.
