Alissa moved to Oregon from California to play volleyball and attend college at Eastern Oregon University. She graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2010, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. Alissa has been practicing with Dr. Dutro since 2012, and loves the relationships that it has allowed her to make with the team as well as her patients!
Alyssa earned her Expanded Function Dental Assistant certificate in 2013 from Clackamas Community College and her Bachelors degree in Community Health Education in 2018 from Portland State University. She started assisting Dr. Dutro in 2013, and moved to the Office Coordinator position in 2019. She loves the variety every day, and sharing laughs with every patient that walks through the door.
Carrie earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certificate from the College of Southern Idaho, in her home town of Twin Falls, Idaho. She moved to Oregon in 2005 and has had the privilege of working with Dr. Dutro ever since. It is her daily goal to put a smile on all her patients faces, as well as all of her coworkers!
She has two beautiful children, whom she loves spending time with. In her free time, she loves being with friends and family, going to country concerts, riding quads, camping, boating, being on the lake, or just anything outdoors!
Kim earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting certificate from Portland Community College in 1997. Kim was born and raised in the Portland area, and has been in the dental industry for 27 years. Kim recently became a part of the Dutro Dental team, and is already enjoying getting to know the patients on a personal level, spending quality time with each patient, and taking care of all of their dental needs.
Kim enjoys spending time with her two twin daughters who are in their 20s, together they enjoy going antique and thrift shopping. She also enjoys going hunting and fishing with her boyfriend, and spending time with her dog Olivia.
Dr. Dutro is a member of The Oregon Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Team for Implantology. He is also a member of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and spent many years as a Hillsboro Rotary Club member. Dr. Dutro enjoys keeping updated on the latest dental and implant technology. He is an active participant and has spent hundreds of hours in dental implant study clubs.
After 29 years of private practice, it is important to Dr. Dutro to create and maintain an environment that is family friendly for all ages, to establish long term relationships in the community, and to lead a team that is professional, caring and will go the extra mile to make his patients feel comfortable. It is also important to him and his team to maintain a clean, sterile and environmentally progressive office.
Dr. Dutro lives in Forest Grove with his wife and three daughters. Besides his passion for dentistry, he also enjoys watersports, skiing, fishing, hunting and spending any time outdoors with his wife and three daughters.
