Wish I could more than five stars! I had a terrible tooth infection, with abscesses, my right cheek swollen and unbelievable pain. I called on Friday night, because I could not be seen by a referred endodontics until Monday. The doctor returned our call right away and gave us care-advice based on my situation. I went in the following day to have some work done. He was very thorough with the root canal and explained everything to make me comfortable. Very good experience.

The BEST dental experience in my 40 years! I need to start of by saying I am an absolute baby when it comes to the dentist/ endontists/ anything involving teeth. I recently woke up in throbbing horrible pain in my mouth, went to my dentist and was informed I would need to have an older root canal retreated. I was horrified and began the scary thoughts of this is going to be a drilling into my skull and painful. I suffered a few days, really suffered in terrible pain and could not find relief. My dentist recommended a practice, they didnt have great reviews and upon my sleepless night in pain I found Dr. Dutowski. I sent a message through his website explaining my situation, my pain and my fear. This was on Saturday night ( on a holiday weekend). Sunday morning at 10 AM, my phone rang, it was Dr. Dutowski on the line. I could not believe it. He was so kind, patient, and talked me through steps to keep me comfortable until he could see me when they reopened on Tuesday. He spent 20 minutes on the phone with me, talking to me about my situation with my tooth. What he would look for, what he would try to do, how I would feel, EVERYTHING. He didn't rush, he took his time with me. Fast forward to this afternoon. I arrived at his location in Bryn Mawr ( 5 mins if that from the Blue Route). I am greeted by Amy and I immediately felt comfortable. I told her I was afraid, she didn't shew me off, she didn't dismiss me, she talked to me about how great Dr. Dutowski is and that he has given her a root canal and he kept her comfortable. I felt at ease but still very nervous. I was taken back to the room, Amy made sure I was comfortable, asked if I needed a pillow or anything at all. We began talking, really got to know her and started to calm down. After Amy got me all checked in and comfy, in came Wendy. I told her ( like a baby ) that I was scared, she put me at ease. We talked about the weekend, food, my past experiences with dental pain ( I had an implant done once and I felt it) and told her I had like ptsd from that. She didnt dismiss me, she listened. She also offered me pillows and anything to keep me comfortable. She X Ray'd me, no issues, no pain, nothing. I was starting to get nervous, but that was just because I could here the Dr wrapping up with another patient and knew I would be next. Dr Dutowski is brilliant! He came into the room, calmly, made me laugh, made me feel at ease, told me what he would do, what he may or may not be able to do, things that could go good, things that could not, but most importantly, I WOULD BE COMFORTABLE. Even the Novocain needle felt like nothing! They have a special instrument they use before hand instead of that yucky gel that tastes nasty. I felt nothing! He told me if I did at any point, to raise my hand. Only 1 time did I feel a sensation, I raised my hand, they stopped, put more Novocain in and went on their merry way inside my tooth . De constructed my old root canal - found some nasty mess in there - told me about it ( which I was interested in). I stopped shaking and you are not going to believe this - I laughed. I laughed throughout most of this entire process EVEN DURING the undoing of my previous root canal. Unreal. I will be going back in 4 weeks- and honestly, I cannot be more excited. Dr. Dutowski, Wendy and Amy, you are wonderful at what you do. I will be telling everyone I know, my dentist's office, friends, family. This is how it should be done! I could not be happier with my experience. Thank you for taking this super scary situation for me, putting me at ease, helping my infection, keeping me pain free and laughing throughout the entire procedure. Thank you for making me feel ok to be scared, ok to be heard. Step by step, I knew what was happening and the fear went away.

Dr Dutkowski, Amy, and Wendy are an excellent team! I had never had a root canal and because of the dental problem I was having an endodontist was required. This was an infection under an existing crown. My insurance company recommended him because of his incredible dental expertise. I am so glad they did. Dr Dutkowski explained every detail of the procedure before he started. Everyone was friendly and personable while still being incredibly professional. All this happened in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. The office's protocol for safety for my health, as well as theirs, was impeccable. The procedure was flawless! The pain was nonexistent and the comfort level was excellent including a pillow and bathroom breaks, if needed. A year later, my tooth is still fine. I was told I would probably need to replace the existing crown after the root canal. Didn't happen! I'm sure that is because Dr Dutkowski really cares about his patients and is incredibly skilled in his profession! I hope I never need another root canal or other complicated dental work, but if I do...I know who I will be returning to!

I called the office for a first time emergency visit and was seen right away. I felt welcomed by the entire staff which made my visit even more pleasant. I had a tooth extraction and while I was waiting for the pain and agony to arise I heard Dr. Dutkowski telling me it's out. It was a pleasant experience. I have had other dental visits and was annoyed at the first visit but not here. I 100% Recommended this practice. Thank you Amy, Wendy and Dr. Dutkowski for a wonderful experience and I whole heartedly appreciate the bedside manners that you all provided.

Doctor Dutkowski is a great dentist. Very amiable and knowledgable. One of, if not my best, dental experiences. Could not recommend the Dr. and his team enough.

First of all an all start crew here. - Amy is a wonderful manager of the location and knows her stuff quite while which is why I came to this location even tho it is for me a small trip but well worth it. -Wendy the assistant to Dr Dutkowski. She is light spirited and between her and Amy they keep the environment stress free with jokes and laughs to fill the office. She is a great hand towards the Dr. -Dr. David Dutowski, this man knows things and has a knowledge which is mind blowing. He sat with me and pretty much made a battle plan on where to go for my long term treatment and overall health of my mouth. This light spirited man can fill a room with joy as much as his to co-worker ladies do. He took his time to make sure I was comfortable as well as Wendy did several times while they worked on my mouth. I would have to say for anyone who has had bad dentist or any fears of dentist this crew here for sure will make you feel as if you are taken care of and such. End of day they went the extra mile for me and extend their hours to remove a tooth which had been causing me a large amount of pain. I felt very safe and in good hands the whole visit and I recommend this place to anyone who has ever had issues with such.

I found "Dr. D" when I moved to the area almost 20 years ago. As an anxious dental patient who'd had some bad experiences, I wanted someone who would take my anxiety seriously and perform all the care/cleanings him- or herself. I could not have been happier to find Dr. D. He takes my teeth sensitivity seriously and always encourages me to speak up if I am in pain. He has cared for my husband and two daughters as well and we all have had great experiences. He is extremely knowledgeable and keeps up with new advances in dentistry. He also got both of my daughters started with palate expanders to prep for orthodontics. Dr. D and the entire team are warm and welcoming and I highly recommend them!

BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE I have always been slightly afraid of going to the dentist because of previous experiences that were less than ideal. When I was living in the area I needed emergency dental work and found Dr. Dutkowski. He, along with Amy and Wendy, were the kindest and most welcoming crew! I felt completely comfortable and was even allowed to pick which Pandora station we listened to. And the dental work itself was impeccable. I live in New York, but whenever I need dental work done again I will be making the trip out to PA. Dr. Dutkowski's office is well worth the trip!

It is fairly common for physicians, dentists and business people of all sorts to claim they treat first-time patients or customers "like family," and when you go to see for yourself, discover that those words are nothing more than a meaningless come-on. That is not the case with Dr. Dutkowski. He is, first and foremost, an excellent dentist, but he has a rare gift for making patients feel as if they are friends of long-standing. He truly likes people, and his easy manner and winning personality, as much as his skill and professionalism, made a potentially harrowing experience (I was there for a root canal) anything but. Additional credit should be given to his courteous and knowledgable staff (office manager Amy and dental assistant Wendy). You can even choose the genre of Pandora music to be played while you're in the chair. (During my two visits, I went with the Stones and Mozart.) My only regret is that I'm restricted to giving him a review of only five stars.
