Our practice offers services such as crowns, dental implants, teeth whitening and more. We also perform emergency dental services which include root canals and extractions. As a local family practice, we create lifelong relationships with our patients and their families by working to ensure they receive treatment in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
Dr. Van Regenmorter graduated in 1995 from University of Nebraska. He began practicing dentistry in Fall River, MA in February 1996 at his own practice on Hanover street and at Health First. He opened his Tiverton location in 2001 and has enjoyed serving the surrounding community ever since.
In his off time, he enjoys fishing, old cars, spending time with friends and antiquing with his wife and daughters. JP and his wife have raised 3 amazing young women and looks forward to having grandchildren one day.
During his senior year of high school, Kyle began shadowing Dr. Van Regenmorter at Dutchman Dental. This was his first real exposure to the dental world beyond being just a patient. He knew immediately that dentistry was the career for him. After high school, he went on to Framingham State University where he majored in Biochemistry. After receiving a Bachelor's degree in 2010, he went on to Boston University School of Medicine where he earned a Master's degree in Medical Sciences with a concentration in Oral Health. From there he entered Boston University School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with a D.M.D. degree in 2017.

Dr. Javier Ramirez was raised in Medellin, Colombia where he graduated from Antioquia University Dental school, one of South America's most prestigious Dental schools. He relocated to the USA where he attended the University of Illinois, Chicago; Graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2007.
Dr. Ramirez is passionate about his field, he is an avid participant in continuing dental education and brings patients the most current up to date care. He joined Dutchman dental in 2013 and since then has been bringing exceptional care to our patients. He also serves as Dental Director to Comprehensive Community Action Programs and participates in numerous volunteer programs to help educate the undeserved communities.
Dr. Vanessa Guerrero was raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She remained local and obtained her bachelor's degree in Biology at Boston University in 2010. She then completed a post baccalaureate program in predental studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2012. Dr. Guerrero earned her doctor of dental medicine degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. After graduating dental school, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the Providence VA Medical Center where she enjoyed providing dental care to America's veterans.
Dr. Austin Labbe was born and raised in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. After earning a bachelors degree in Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh, he completed his doctorate in dental medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. There he graduated with honors, with a focus in the treatment of patients with complex medical conditions. The following year, he traveled to Houston to continue his training alongside world-renowned dental specialists at the Texas Medical Center. He was quickly recognized by his peers for his advanced skills in clinical dentistry, earning him the title of Chief Resident. During his tenure in Houston, he earned certifications in Invisalign, nitrous oxide sedation, oral sedation, as well as laser dentistry.
As a lifelong resident of North Kingstown, Dr. Labbe loves everything RI and MA has to offer. Outside of dentistry, he prefers to spend his free time with family and friends on the water enjoying boating, fishing, and swimming.

Very good experience! They got me in with a days notice and even notified me of a cancellation so I could come in earlier. Hygienist Abby was so kind and welcoming. Abby made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole time and helped me out with insurance charges and such! Big thanks to the whole team!

Can I give zero stars? Never in my life have I met a less professional individual than JP. Shows up 48 minutes late to an appointment because he was at yoga. Comes in completely unshowered and filled the entire room with body oder. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional to both me and the rest of the staff at Dutchman in Tiverton. Hurry up and retire so we dont have to deal with this. You are a disgrace to the healthcare industry.

My wife was in excruciating pain today. We normally see Dutchman Dental in Wakefield; however, they are closed on Saturdays. She is 10 weeks pregnant. We are a military family relocated from California. Called to see if another office would help us out. What we encountered was beyond anything we have ever experienced on the phone. Initially, we were told we would receive a call back. 30 minutes later we called back to see if there was an update. Kim, the dental hygienist, answered the phone. First she was rude. She told my wife that the reason she hadn't received a call back was because they were busy. Ok, we can deal with rude. This is Rhode Island. We are used to it at this point. She went on to tell us that we are out of luck, that there is no availability and she needs to call her dentist on Monday. My wife is a Dr. herself, with her own clinic schedule. She works Monday through Thursday for 10 hours a day. When we explained this to her and she told her "maybe she shouldn't be working then." That's when I jumped in. There is more to the story here. Very rude and inconsiderate. I told her she doesn't need to give my wife life advice over the phone and that if they are not going to go above and beyond to see a patient in need then I don't understand why they are associated with the other practices. What's the point of being associated if they don't help each other out. Either way that wasn't the problem. The problem was the complete lack of compassion and blatant rude comments that were unnecessary and uncalled for. Fall River initially said they couldn't see us; however, the front staff was not combative. We hung up the phone on good terms and were going to seek an emergency dentist in area. They called back 5 minutes later and made an exception. They must of had an offline conversation and figured out that patient care is important and decided to go that extra mile. She is on her way to that clinic now. Thank you Fall River for going above and beyond. The Wakefield staff is amazing. They were just not open today. All I can say is Kim does not need to answer the phone. Wow.

I cannot recommend Dutchman Dental enough! Every single staff member is so kind and courteous. The environment is so relaxed and takes all the anxiety out of dentist appointments. Added bonus: they played Taylor Swift during my appointment AND I got special goggles to protect my eyelash extensions.

I recently went to Dutchman Dental and had a great experience. This was my first visit in several years and when booking my appointment I asked that they make note of my anxiety and tooth sensitivity. I can't stress enough how relaxed and comfortable my hygienist, Crystal made me feel, and I had zero pain during my visit. Dr. Ramirez was amazing and really listened to my concerns and sent me off with a referral to move forward with the next step in my process. Every step of my process, from booking my appointment to the day of was smooth and painless and they even allowed me to come back the next day to go over some insurance information and helped me to understand and choose a policy that was best for me. I have never seen such an attentive staff at every level and I know I made the right decision choosing Dutchman Dental!

JP is the best dentist I've ever encountered. His skills with the needle make it so the needle-phobic get excited to see him! My 4 wisdom tooth extractions (in 2 visits) required NO PAINKILLERS! He knows how to wiggle teeth free from the root BEFORE pulling. This man could teach every other dentist in the world a thing or three. Cleanings rock, the tv and massage chair is a great touch. The place is gorgeous and they grow stuff in the back garden sometimes. The people are super nice and a pleasure to talk with while waiting.

My family and I have been seeing JP and staff for years, they have always been fantastic and always available for same-day emergencies. Within the past year there have been 3 occassions when we have needed, during office hours, an emergency visit. Ashley, who answers the phone, has absolutely nothing to offer, no compassion, no assistance, and no appointments- be it same -day or even within 72 hours. Ashley will not present any form of a solution, and I wonder if JP is aware? If you have the wherewithal to pepper her with questions, and tolerate her attitude, you yourself may be able to ferret out a solution. Perhaps the office has gotten too busy to accommodate JP's patients? Either way, Ashley needs retraining or a job where she isn't interacting with patients. I was able to arrive at a solution, and Ashley gets 100% of the credit! My solution is to find a new Dentist for my family.
