Dr. Ferrer has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years, having graduated from Temple University Dental School in 1992 and completing a general practice residency at New York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center the following year. He has practiced in Rye and Croton New York prior to opening Dutchess Dental Care in Poughquag.
Dr. Ferrer has taken extensive continuing education in fixed, removable and implant prosthetics (crowns, bridges, partial, full and attachment dentures on natural teeth and implants), orthodontics for full term, short term and invisalign treatment, conscious sedation both through iv route and by oral medication, endodontics (root canal therapy),periodontics (gum treatment) and pediatrics (children's dental care).
Christine Ramtallie Office Admin/Hygienist/Orthodontic Assistant Christine Ramtallie has been in the dental field for over 30 years having started her career as an orthodontic assistant in her homeland of Jamaica and then here in New York before becoming a Registered Dental Hygienist which she has practiced for over 10 years. She handles many roles here at Dutchess Dental Care as the office administrator, hygienist and orthodontic assistant.

VERY friendly, gentle and thorough! The entire team went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable, and I have always been a typical "afraid of dentists" person. Well, not any more. Thx Dutchess Dental Care!

Never thought I'd live to see the day where I would want to write a glowing review of a dentist and office, but I've lived to that day. I had a dental emergency pop up and needed it addressed quickly, I was afraid all kinds of bad things would be happening to me while I awaited getting in to see a dentist. I broke a tooth off at the gum line and it needed surgical intervention right away. I called this office and without begging or bribing I was scheduled for the next day at hours that worked around my work schedule. The office was clean, neat and bright. The staff was welcoming and warm in their duties with me. Approx an hour later I was leaving this office with the problem resolved, some gauze to use during aftercare at home, and the same hospitality I was treated with on arrival. Dr Ferrer performed a difficult procedure very gently, all while making me feel relaxed. This place is a gem! The staff, the space, the quality of work done. Dr Ferrer and his staff made my day a much better one than I anticipated!! Highly recommend!

Some of the best and friendly staff at Dutchess Dental. As someone who was always afraid and reluctant to go to the dentist Dr. Ferrer, Christine and the rest of the staff made me comfortable and at ease to finally go to the dentist. I had major work done to get my smile back dental implants it was a long process which was impacted mostly because of the pandemic but the end result has been fantastic I get compliments daily on my smile something I couldn't do for years now I can smile comfortably again. Each procedure was explained in detail and cost. I am now a regular patient and come back for my regular checkups and cleaning.

The people that work here are a great team. I've always had difficulty with my teeth. Dr. Ferrer and his team placed the best crown, out of the 5 I have. Cutting edge devices I haven't seen before and make the experience more comfortable. They didn't break the bank either. When I had an emergency they had me come right in and Doc fixed the problem within minutes.

Best Dental Office! They were able to get me in the same day for a dental emergency even though I was new and wasn't an existing patient. I have always had such a fear of going to the dentist. Dr. Ferrer and all the staff are kind, friendly, and compassionate. They did a great job. This visit easy and pain free.

Can't say enough about how wonderful Dr. Ferrer and his team are! By far the best dental experience, it really makes all the difference. The staff was so kind and welcoming from the time you walk through the door. Dr. Ferrer was thorough in his explanations of all my options and very patient.

Unbelievably kind and caring from the front desk to dental assistant to the doctor. After having a traumatic experience at a previous dentist I have been terrified to take care of a problem tooth. After waking up to sever swelling I called dutchess dental was fit in instantly. The doctor listen to all my concerns walked me through best options and started me on antibiotics and gave me a referral to oral surgeon due to my extreme anxiety over the last dentist so I could be sedated for extraction. The next day things got worse and I could not get an appointment with a oral surgeon for another month. I called the office and once again they fit me in that day to check on the increased swelling. The doctor then personally called around and got me a same day appointment with an amazing oral surgeon. I can officially say my faith in dentist have been restored and I'm beyond thankful we found Dr Ferrer and his staff. If you are looking for a dentist who truly cares this is the place to go.

The Doctor and staff at Dutchess dental are true professionals. This is the only dentist that does a cancer screening for it's patients that I have been to. Doctor Jeff went above and beyond his normal duties and was able to catch a couple of blemishes on my head that turned out had to be removed. He also found a nodule in my mouth that I would never have notice that had to be removed. They truly care about their patients. Thanks you.
