Dr. Edward Duski graduated in 1985 from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He had attended LSSU as a recipient of the late Senator Philip A. Hart Memorial Scholarship. Thereafter he entered The University of Michigan Dental School and where he met his wife to be, Dr. Janis (Chmura) Duski.

Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Duski entered the US Air Force as a Captain and completed a residency in advanced general dentistry. After completing his time in the USAF, Dr. Duski moved to Gaylord where he and his wife established Duski Dentistry and began to raise their family. While being in private practice since l992, Dr. Duski has dedicated his career to studying and perfecting advanced techniques that enable his patients to regain the quality of life they expect and desire.

He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Vacationland District Dental Society. He is an alumni of the Dawson Academy and participated in the continuum for the Seattle Institute for Advance Dental Study. His emphasis in training has been in cosmetic and comprehensive reconstructive dentistry, as well as surgical implant placement and restoration.

In his free time he really enjoys the abundance of outdoor activities in beautiful Northern Michigan, including fishing, kayaking, biking, and hiking. They also enjoy visiting their son who is stationed in the USAF in Louisiana, and their daughter living in Nashville pursuing a career in music.

.Born and raised in the downriver Detroit area, Dr. Janis Duski has been a Gaylord resident since 1992. She attended The University of Detroit for her undergraduate training and The University of Michigan for dental school. As with her husband, Janis entered the US Air Force as a Captain and completed a residency in advanced general dentistry. Sheis a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

She spends most of her free time involved with her two children or enjoying the Michigan outdoors, fishing and gardening. Daughter Lauren is a 2013 graduate of the University of Michigan, 2017 runner-up of The Voice and resides in Nashville, TN. Son Bradley is a 2016 graduate of the University of Michigan and recently joined the US Air Force, becoming a 3rd generation USAF service member!

Regon has been with Duski Dentistry since 1999, right after graduation from Ferris State University, She worked as a Registered Dental Hygienist for us until 2006. At that time she transitioned to our Treatment Coordinator, allowing her to fully utilize her dental knowledge and treatment planning skills. Shenow manages ourfront desk operations, and is Duski Dentistry's longest working employee!!! She grew up in the Fife Lake, MI area with her husband Chris. They reside in Gaylord with their two daughters and she enjoys boating, knitting, cooking and scrapbooking. Regon hold amembership in the ADHA (American Dental Hygienist Association).

Tammy has been with Duski Dentistry since 1999 and obtaineed her dental hygiene degree from Ferris State University. She grew up in Kalkaska, MI and lives in Gaylord with her husband Jeromey and their three sons. She enjoys spending time with her family attending sporting events, boating, downhill skiing, and exercising. Tammy is a member of the ADHA (American Dental Hygienist Association).

Meghan is originally from Marquette, MI where after graduating high school she started working as a dental assistant. She met her husband John, while attending Northern Michigan University, where she earned her BS in Biology. After graduation they moved to Colorado, and she received her Dental Hygiene degree from Pueblo Community College. While there she also worked for a dental office as their patient/treatment coordinator. Meghan has been a part of our team since 2010. She is also a member of the ADHA (American Dental Hygienist Association).

Hope worked for Duski Dentistry from 1993 to 2005, and recently re-joined our team in May, 2016. She was born and raised in the Gaylord area, and still resides here with her husband Tim. Hope brings many years of experience in dental assisting, with emphasis on surgery and implant treatment. In her time off work she loves to keep busy boating and camping in the summer, as well as spending time with their two daughters.

Lisa joined our practice in April 2017 as our Hygiene Treatment Coordinator. She grew up in Gaylord and resides here with her husband Paul and their two children. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and cooking.

Ashlee joined our practice in April, 2019 as an intern from Northwestern Michigan college's RDA program. Her hard work ethic and endless enthusiasm earned her a permanent position in our office in no time. She joins our wonderful team of highly qualified RDA's working with Dr. Ed to provide the utmost in patient care.
