Ive wanted to be a dentist since I was 7 years old. That desire inspired me to leave home in Los Angeles to attend Boston University, where I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemistry. I continued on to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2003. I ventured back to Los Angeles, for my husband and I to settle down near our families, and completed a post-graduate program in Advanced General Dentistry at UCLA School of Dentistry. UCLA gave me more intensive training, provided me with hands-on experience in restoring dental implants, and triggered my interest in esthetic dentistry.
In 2004, I started working in a large group practice in the South Bay. It was here that I became the dentist I am today. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry & find thats what keeps dentistry interesting for me. At the same time, I noticed back then an inclination toward cosmetic dentistry and I wanted to enhance those skills. So, in 2009, I continued my education and completed a 10 month comprehensive Esthetic Residency at Esthetic Professionals in Tarzana, CA. This is where I learned even more about cosmetic dentistry through extensive hands on practice in porcelain veneers, crowns, inlays, onlays, dental implant restorations, teeth whitening, and so much more. Its through Esthetic Professionals that I realized the importance of formal esthetic dental training. Materials in dentistry are forever evolving and its important to have the knowledge and skill to evolve with these changes.
In 2013, with 10 years of dentistry supporting me, I opened Dushane Dental Arts with such enthusiasm and drive to take care of my patients! I love what I do, I believe in what I do, so its only natural that when patients are under my care, they get the quality care they deserve. I take pride in my work, listen to patients and their individual needs, and truly enjoy building a relationship with every patient to make them feel comfortable and happy to be part of my practice.
Joey graduated from American Career College in 2015 and immediately beganworking at Dushane Dental Arts as Dr. Dushane 's chairside dental assistant.'At their first meeting Dr. Dushane knew he was a perfect fit for the practice. In early 2017, Joey transitioned to Front Office Manager. Joey has high, positive energy that is contagious and makes all of our patients feel at home. He takes extra care of every patient and goes the extra mile to ensure patients leave Dushane Dental Arts feeling content. Some of his hobbies include watching movies,art exhibitions, being outdoors, and of course shopping. Joey is fantastic and we are so happy he is part of the team!
Shila earned her Bachelors of Science at West Los Angeles College Dental Hygiene Program. During her free time, Shila enjoys adventurous trips and loves to cook and try cultural foods. Shila's passion for dental hygiene and cosmetic dentistry started when she was a young girl. She loves to have a healthy mouth and a sparkly smile! Comfort is top priority for Shila's patients. She enjoys making an impact on their oral health and ending their visit with a smile. We adore Shila and are confident you will too!
Love was born and raised in Los Angeles. She started dental assisting back in early 2019 and started working at Dushane Dental Arts in 2021. Before dental assisting, she was in a jazz band and played instruments such as the piano and trumpet. In her free time, she loves going to the beach, theme parks, and binge watching t.v. shows. Love strives to educate and comfort patients while in the dental office and is very happy to be a part of the Dushane Dental Arts team!
Leeana earned her Bachelors degree at West Los Angeles college. She has always had an interest in the medical field and discovered her love for hygiene in 2018. It is her priority to ensure her patients are comfortable. She also loves to share her knowledge about oral health with everyone. In her free time, Leeana also likes to cook, lift weights and go on road trips!

We use only top of the line products and materials including a digital impression scanner. No more putty based impressionmaterial. Currently, we are using the Trios 3shape intraoral impression scanner. The benefit of this scanner is that you get an instant, life-like,digital image of your teeth ona computer monitor. This image is sent to our dental lab for printed models and ceramic fabrication.

Right above the renowned LAVO ristorante, Dushane Dental on the 4th floor over looks part of Hollywood/Beverly Hills border. One of the greatest dentist teams in the world. Dushane Dental has a team of Rockstars. Shelly, Love, Joey, and Tiffany are all phenomenal in what they do. They do it with such grace and tenacity. No need to be afraid of going to the dentist with this group; your absolutely in great hands. I've only been in LA since winter 2018 and I've shopped a couple hand fulls of dentists, this is by far the best and teetering on world renowned with their exceptional attention to detail. Shelly loves doing her patients cleanings as much as I love getting a cleaning. Tiffany and Joey are both ever so meticulous with their due diligence. Greatness like this isn't achieved over night. Cheers to this rockstar team. I'm literally looking forward to every visit. Please consider Dushane Dental whether in or out of network with your insurance.

Incredibly helpful, clean and polite. Dr Dushane was so nice, as my hygienist Shila, office manager Joey, and Julian. Joey was super nice and as polite as could be, and showed me how safe and clean the office was upon entering. (You are supposed to call while you are outside the office and they let you in!) Shila was thorough, professional, and constantly checking if I was having any pain. (I wasn't) Julian was personable and friendly, and a pleasure to talk to. Dr. Was very through, and went over many issues other dentists dismissed. Very professional from the time I walked in to the time that I left. Answers all my questions. Highly recommend!

A co-worker recommended Dr. Dushane. I made an appointment with her for the first time this week, and I wasn't disappointed. Dr. Dushane is thorough, professional and very competent. Of course, I like a nice practitioner and she is that, but more impressive is the professional care I received. I recommend Dr. Dushane and her staff to take care of your dental needs.

You can see my full review on Yelp, but I wanted to update a few things. After almost 2 years of treatment and completing my Invisalign sessions ( See Dr. Yana ) I must say that it really has changed my life. Dr. Dushane is so accommodating with scheduling and kept me on track to get my smile perfected in short order. I am so happy with the results and just feel healthier overall. Now I just have to maintain the work and we are good to go. Her staff is amazing to say the least. Having work done by Flor, Joey and Cassie is as you would expect, top notch and professional. Again it is hard to find compentent people you trust and I have always felt like I was in great hands with this staff. Flor was the first person that was able to take x-rays which is not an easy task with me as I can't take it. Then you work with Joey, same thing, total pro. Everyone is on the same page and knows what they are doing which is a credit to Dr. Dushane mentoring her staff. Finally Cassie is so great and I would describe her work as precise like a fine watchmaker, the details matter with her. So great ! They just do their jobs right the FIRST time. All and all Dr. Dushane is spectacular, a top shelf professional and amazing dentist. She will set you on a path and if you follow her lead, you'll love where you end up...

Dr. Dushane is the most thorough dentist I've ever been to. Her new hygienist, Cassie, is excellent, gentle and friendly. The entire office staff is always pleasant, professional and makes me feel confident that I'm receiving the best possible oral care.
