Dr. Duryea earned his degree from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1982 and his graduate degree from the St. Louis University medical center in 1984. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontics, Colorado Orthodontists Association, American Dental Association, and the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society.
He has been practicing orthodontics in the Denver area for 24 years and has two convenient locations. The Lakewood office is on Alameda, just west of Union and the Littleton office is on the corner of Pierce and Ken Caryl.
Dr. Duryea is a dedicated family man and is married with two children. They have just added a Bishon dog named Casey to their family. Dr. Duryea enjoys football (the Nebraska Corn Huskers and the Denver Broncos), skiing, biking, swimming, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Duryeas goal is to provide a healthy and confident smile to all of his patients. He takes pride in his work and takes it very seriously, yet Dr. Duryea and his team do it in a fun way. He wants his patients to enjoy coming to see him.
Danni joined Dr. Duryeas team in September 2019. She worked as a dental office manager prior to spending the last 12 years as a stay at home mom. Danni has three children, and enjoys spending time with them; whether its in the mountains, at their sports activities,volunteering at their school,or cuddled up on the couch watching a movie. Danni moved here 11 years ago from Michigan, where her extended family lives, so she enjoys getting back to visit a couple times a year.In her personal time, youll find Danni walking her Mini Golden doodle,Stafford (named after Detroit Lions QB), or enjoying some other forms of fitness, and catching up with friends and loved ones. Gina has been working with Dr. Duryea and team for 3 years. This is her first time working in the dental industry. Upon finishing college, Gina was a corporate Travel Manager & Meeting Planner for 10 years. During her time in the Travel Industry, Gina and her husband of 33 years traveled extensively experiencing all that this fabulous world has to offer. Gina had the privilege of being a stay at home mother after the births of her two children. Both her children now proudly have Duryea smiles. In her personal time, Gina enjoys traveling, cooking, reading,and listening to live music with her husband. Interesting fact Gina loves to cook and was once a Personal Chef for a local prominent family here in town.
Kristen is one of the newest team members and has been in the dental field for many years. She received her Associates Degree, Allied Health/Dental Assisting from Rose State College in 1987, and was an office manager prior to having children. She has two children, whom she is very proud of, and she loves animals. Kristen is a Yoga instructor, enjoys reading, movies, and likes to take walks with her new pup. In her spare time, Kristen offers Reiki to animals and people. Interesting factKristen would like to volunteer with Life Spark, so that she may offer Reiki to cancer patients
Sandy has been with Dr. Duryea for over 20 years. She has three children, a cat and a dog that keep her very busy. Sandy has a cabin in the mountains, where she spends her free time, if she has any after running her kids to all their sporting events. She was born and raised in Sacramento, California, and played softball throughout high school. Her daughter is following her footsteps and also playing softball. An interesting fact about Sandy Her distant cousin is famous baseball player, Mickey Mantel
Amanda has been with Dr. Duryea and team for a year; this is her first job in the dental field and she loves it. Prior to working with Dr. Duryea, Amanda was a stay at home mom to her four children. Amanda loves to travel, enjoys the outdoors, camping, indoor cycling, NFL Football, and visiting different National Parks. She drives for Uber and Lyft in her spare time. Interesting fact.Amanda has lived in Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, and Colorado.
