Dr. Durham is a native of Fort Payne, Alabama. He attended Auburn University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. While attending Auburn University, Dr. Durham belonged to the Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, and Alpha Epsilon Delta honor societies. After completing his degree, Dr. Durham received a Dental Merit scholarship to attend the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham.
Upon graduation from dental school in 2006, Dr. Durham received several honors. He was recognized for being on the Deans List each quarter for all four years of dental school. In addition, he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He also received the American Association of Orthodontists Award for exceptional interest in the development of the orofacial complex.
After completion of dental school, Dr. Durham soon entered into a residency program at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. While there, he successfully completed the Phase II written exam of the American Board of Orthodontics in April, 2008. Then, he completed his three-year residency program in April, 2009. After completing his residency, he earned his Master of Science degree with his masters thesis titled, A Comparison of Two Soft Tissue Gingivectomy Techniques.
Dr. Durham and his wife, Kelly, have four children, Wyatt (8), Tucker (6), Riley (4), and Miller (2). Kelly is a Physician Assistant at Dermatology Associates, PC in Huntsville. In addition, the Durhams are passionate about their opportunity here in Madison and enjoy working with the community. During his free time, Dr. Durham enjoys spending time with friends and family, hunting, and watching college football.

Dr. Durham is the most patient and caring provider I've ever met. He and his staff are all very professional and kind (which is hard to find). I know when we go we will be treated with respect and welcomed by smiling faces. If you struggle with being scared of the dentist he is very patient and understanding. He never pushes you and recognizes the fears people have and let's you build up to knowing the staff and developing a friendship/trust with the staff. I will never go to a different Orthodontist. #DurhamRocks

Dr. Durham and everyone I have ever encountered with at my time here is nothing short of amazing. They make appointments fun, easy, and fast! I've never enjoyed going to an appointment so much. I'm in and out of there quickly and they do such a good job on everything that is needed to be done. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an orthodontist and I'm so glad I can call this place my orthodontist! I'm very happy here. Thank you for all that you do guys!!! My son began seeing Dr. Durham initially at age 9 to correct his underbite. When it came time for phase 2 (braces) we knew for sure that we'd continue with seeing Dr. Durham. He and his staff are kind, personable, and knowledgeable. Thank you for providing excellent care for my little patient!!

We've been with Dr. Durham's office for years now. My daughter completed her treatment about 1 year ago. My son got his braces today. For both of our children, Dr. Durham explained the process he was using to create more space for their teeth to move into place, even before they started wearing braces. He has a great staff as well, from check-in to setting up follow-on appointments!

Dr. Durham and his staff are fantastic. As an older patient, I was a little apprehensive about orthodontic treatment, but everyone there has always made me feel very comfortable during my visits. The results are exactly as promised and I'm very glad that I took my dentist's recommendation to go with Durham Orthodontics.

My teenager continues to receive great service from Dr Durham & his entire office staff. Check in & out is a breeze. Her treatment is on point, adjustments show the improvements of her bite & smile.
