Dr. Durham has been interested in the practice of dentistry since a young age. He received his bachelors degree from Clemson University and achieved his dream of becoming a dentist when he earned his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine.Upon graduating, he moved back to his home town in the upstate of South Carolina where he opened his first dental practice. After years of visiting beautiful Beaufort he decided to relocate and open a new state-of-the-art dental practice in the area, in order to provide the southern United States with the latest dental products, skills and technology available today.
From his attention to detail to his insistence of providing the very best modern dentistry has to offer, Dr. Durham is committed to offering you a smile that is as healthy as it is beautiful. He travels nationwide dedicating hundreds of hours each year to learning the latest techniques and advancements in dentistry available. He authors many dental articles to help educate the importance of dental health. His postgraduate studies have included advanced training on dental implants, neuromuscular dentistry (TMJ/TMD), CEREC single visit restorations, Invisalign, sedation, and Millenium Dentals Periolase Laser. Dr. Durhams commitment of lifelong learning assures you the best that dentistry has to offer, both today and in the future.
Dr. Durham is very active in the community and in the past has served on local zoning and historical preservation boards. He and his wife, Kim, have three wonderful children, Collin, Brock and Porter. In his time away from the office, Dr. Durham enjoys spending time with his family and time outdoors.
Raised in Southern Illinois, Jamie relocated to Beaufort the summer of 2012, when she joined the team at Durham Dental. Since graduating from dental assisting school in 2006, her career has provided her clinical and management roles to strengthen leadership abilities throughout the business portions of the dental office. Jamie and her husband Ian enjoy the Lowcountry while walking their dogs, Boo and Bubba, skydiving, baking cookies, treasure hunting, and spending time on the water.
A native of South Carolina, Jessica's adventures in the dental field began after she served 4 years in the United States Coast Guard. She then graduated from Horry Georgetown Dental Assisting School and joined Durham Dental in 2013. Her experience has allowed her to work with general, cosmetic, and neuromuscular dentistry. Jessica loves educating patients and helping them achieve their dental goals. In her spare time, Jessica along with her three girls enjoy reading, cooking, adventurous outdoor sports, and going to the beach.
Kayley was born and raised in the lowcountry. She relocated to the upstate with her family in her early teens where she began her dental assisting career. After graduating dental assisting school in 2016 she specialized in general dentistry and orthodontics. After 3 years she decided to return home and further her career with Durham Dental. Kayley and her boyfriend have been remodeling their new home and enjoy being on the water and fishing in their spare time.
Leisel was born and raised in West Virginia. After marrying her husband they were stationed in Beaufort while her husband, Jason completed his time in the Marine Corps. They have 3 girls, Victoria, Kadence, and Hanley. They enjoy boating, hunting, fishing, and spending time with friends and family. Leisel is passionate about provide the best possible dental care to her patients and making them feel comfortable.

Dr Durham is a very pleasant, honest and caring dentist that only recommends treatment that is needed. He is very gentle and is able to numb you where you hardly are aware that he just numbed you. He has put together a great team that takes great care of you from the first phone call, thru the exam process, teeth cleaning and dental procedures. Dr Durham and his team make going to the dentist a very pleasant experience that you never have to be apprehensive about. You can trust that they always have your best interest at heart.

I was very happy with my experience at Durham Dental. I just had a 2 +hr appointment where they they were very professional and attentive to my concerns. The work the did was good which is a big plus and they explained what they were going to do at each step of the process. It like a happy family that helps each other out when ever needed.
