I get very nervous when going to the dentist, but the Durells' attention, care and expertise made the process a lot less stressful. I once had a dental ache on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Durell called me in the evening and made sure I'd be pain free until first thing Monday morning. I fully recommend them.

Always do a great job at cleaning. They are very professional and the office is very clean. They take extra steps to ensure you are safe from COVID and each patient is put in a private room. I always feel safe and welcome when coming here.

I have always had a very pleasant experience with the Durells. We have been patients for four years or so. I have had the pleasure of being treated by both dentists. They have always been friendly, courteous and very professional. I can say the exact same thing for the staff. If you are looking for a dentist you should definitely give them a call!

I'm from out of state and was due for a cleaning. My wife made me an appointment with Durell & Durell Family Dentist. When I arrived they wanted to take x-rays as part of a Comprehensive Oral Evaluation. I told them that I already had an evaluation, including full x-rays a few months earlier, and i just wanted a cleaning. I gave them permission to request the x-rays and records from my regular dentist. They agreed and Dave proceeded with the cleaning. Following my appointment I received a bill showing they submitted a bill to my insurance company for $101.00 for a Comprehensive Oral Evaluation and $103.00 for Prophylaxis, to which the insurance company only paid a portion, leaving me with a $75.00 bill, after an insurance adjustment of $53.00. They did not complete the comprehensive oral evaluation. My insurance company covers cleanings 100 percent. I went to their office to discuss and the office manager said that she would talk with the dentist and call me. When she called me back she said that they were sorry, but that's their policy. It's just my opinion, but that's not a very good policy!

I found Durell & Durell Family Dentistry in April, 2019 when I decided it was time to switch dentists to one who treated me like a person and not just a dollar sign. I have tried several dentists in my 21 years in Plainfield and I am the happiest by far with Durell & Durell. From the first time by phone, then the first time I walked through the door, I felt "at home" with the Durells and every member of their staff. I have received excellent dental care without the feeling of being rushed through the process, and they never try to talk me into a service I don't want. I highly recommend the Durells for any dental service you may need.

The docs and staff treat you like family! I drive over 45 minutes to continue receiving the high quality care from Durell and Durell! Always appreciate the prompt appointment times and ease of scheduling. Hands down the best experience I've had at any dentist. I'm always listened to and my questions are answered. The staff and doctors put a tremendous amount of effort into caring for their patients!

My 4yo needed three cavities filled and Dr. Laura and her assistants did a great job of making the experience as pain-free and even a bit fun as they could. Overall, we are highly satisfied with the work that was done and their wonderful bed side manner.
