I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since May 2001, when I earned my degree from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. I am board certified to work in both Kentucky and Indiana. My husband, Chris, and I have two sons who are the light of our lives. I have many hobbies but at the top of my list is definitely shopping and spending time with my family. As I began college, I declared my major as nursing, but wasnt satisfied with my decision. After realizing my obsession for teeth, switching from nursing to dental hygiene was a positive career move. The natural blend of those two medical professions were great for me. The biggest reward of my job is the that I get to work with people and practice what I truly enjoy. I always look forward to seeing my patients and helping them achieve the smile they are proud of.
I am a 2005 graduate of the Academy of Dental Assisting where I earned my degree as a dental assistant. I joined Dr. Durbins team in January 2005. I graduated from the University of Louisvilles Expanded Duties Dental Assisting program. I have been happily married to my husband and best friend since August 2005, and we have two wonderful kids.
