Dr. Reed is a fifth-generation Colorado native, completing both his undergraduate and doctorate degrees in the state. He loves to hike, camp, fish, hunt, and generally spend time out of doors with his wife and two daughters. This love for the outdoors brought Dr. Reed and his family to the Western Slope. Dr. Reed is passionate about serving his community and has been involved in many volunteer organizations including: Dental Lifeline Network, Colorado Mission of Mercy, and has served on international mission trips to Fiji and Guatemala. Dr. Reed is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Western Colorado Dental Society, and was elected in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society upon graduation of dental school. He currently sits on the Executive Board of the Colorado Mission of Mercy, an organization focused on providing free dental care to Coloradoans.

Dr. Reed believes in treating patients with the utmost respect and care. He is dedicated to providing the best possible dentistry in an environment of comfort, trust, and education. Together with his patients, he works towards treatment outcomes to meet both their personal and medical needs.

Maddie was born and raised in Durango and graduated from San Juan College with Presidential Honors and a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2018. She is thrilled to be able to work in her hometown. Maddie strives to provide gentle and thorough care for each patient and enjoys educating patients with current information. She loves getting to know her patients and seeing familiar faces. Maddie is excited to be a part of the friendly and positive environment that Durango Dentistry offers. When she is not at work she enjoys hiking, skiing, baking, and traveling with her husband.

Franne has been working as a dental hygienist in our office since 2005. She is thankful to work in such a happy and caring environment with a wonderful boss and co-workers that she considers family. Franne is gentle and deeply cares about people and wants to give them her best. She highly respects both Dr. Mann and Dr. Steven Reed for their moral character, integrity, and excellent dentistry!

Kelly is a full-time hygienist that started working for our office in April 2016. She received her Dental Hygiene degree at San Juan College in Farmington NM, where she graduated with honors as a Merrion Master Scholar. She also received Honors Service Learning by donating her time to her community by providing dental cleanings for the elderly, teaching dental education to elementary students, and providing free dental cleanings to the public at several Mission of Mercy events in New Mexico. She enjoys interacting with patients, providing information on new dental research, and most of all she enjoys improving the overall health of her patients. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her daughter. The two of them enjoy rock climbing, hiking, traveling, movies, music, art, and family time.

Nikki has been with our team since 2017. She always dreamed of being a dental hygienist, even as a child. Nikki enjoys working with her co-workers and our patients at Durango Dentistry. We are one big family! Nikki has a degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene from Laramie College in Wyoming and was a recipient of the Golden Scaler Award. If you catch Nikki on a day off, she is most likely spending time with her family, friends or two lovable dogs. She loves finding new projects or simply just being outdoors.

Brittney grew up in New Mexico and received her degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene from San Juan College. She graduated as a Merrion Master Honors student and was a recipient of the Colgate Star Award. She strives to make her patients feel welcome and comfortable and it is important to her that her patients feel educated with their oral health and leave with the tools and skills necessary to be successful at home. Brittney loves to travel and enjoys camping, kayaking, reading, and being with her family.

Jessica was born in Flagstaff, AZ and has lived in several states across the country. She has called Farmington, NM home for the past 7 years and loves the beauty of the southwest. She received an Associates of Applied Science degree from San Juan College Dental Hygiene program and graduated with Honors as a Merrion Master Scholar in May of 2021 then joined the Durango Dentistry team in August of 2021. She enjoys meeting new patients and helping them feel comfortable as well as educating them on how to improve their oral hygiene and answering any questions they may have. In her free time, she is a book worm, loves baking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and 3 children. She feels blessed to work with such caring doctors and a team that feels like family.

Michelle is one of our very talented and knowledgeable dental assistants. She is professional, courteous, and always a pleasure to be around. Her infectious smile and happy personality are sure to make your visit a pleasant experience. She has been with the practice since 2003 and truly loves her work. Michelle goes out of her way to make patients comfortable, informed and at ease during their visit. Dr. Mann is a fantastic dentist and I would always recommend the practice. I am so happy about Dr. Steven Reed joining the team and the opportunity for growth in the office. In her free time, Michelle loves hiking, spending time with her two beautiful daughters and fantastic husband. She will also take any opportunity to curl up with a good book.

Tymbree began her dental assisting career here at Durango Dentistry soon after graduating high school in Bayfield, Colorado. Since then, she has enjoyed the opportunity to learn and grow in the dentistry field. She is very excited to continue on this path with Dr. Mann, Dr. Reed and our team. Tymbree loves working along side our doctors to help our patients leave with a happy, healthy smile. In her free time, Tymbree enjoys to surf, ski, travel and spend time with her family.

Jennifer is one of our Expanded Duty Dental Assistants who is committed to making all patients feel welcomed and relaxed. She is an Arizona native with over 9 years of dental experience and is passionate about her job. Jennifer values the care Dr. Mann and Dr. Reed provide their patients. Our office treats all patients like family, its rewarding to be apart of a great practice. Jennifer enjoys spending time with patients to educate and encourage them to maintain good oral health. She is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. Jennifer resides in Mancos with her husband and two daughters where she enjoys hiking, camping and gardening.

Carrie joined the Durango Dentistry team in January 2018. She recently moved here after 15 years in Seattle to be closer to family. She was excited to join Dr. Mann & Dr. Steven Reed and team to continue her career in dental administration, which shes worked in since 2014. She strives to help each patient understand their insurance and break down their treatment cost. Just as Dr. Mann & Dr. Steven Reed take exceptional care in recommending treatment and treating their patients, Carrie is very detail oriented in her knowledge and understanding of a dental practice. She has enjoyed spending more time with her family and exploring all that Durango has to offer through camping, hiking, events, etc. and looks forward to greeting you when you arrive at Durango Dentistry.
