My doctor treated me with care and compassion because he knew me personally. He gave me individual attention and I never felt treated as a just another patient. He worked to foster this relationship by knowing what was happening in my life, listening to my questions and resolving my concerns when I was apprehensive about dental work.
When my doctor provided dental care he strove to make us as comfortable as possible. His amiable demeanor automatically put me at ease and rarely did I ever feel pain or discomfort. The cleanness and brightness of his office provided for a relaxing atmosphere which made each visit pleasant.

With his careful listening skills and one-on-one approach to your health care, he focuses on getting to know each patient individually and will tailor his treatment to best suit your needs.
With Dr. Belts colorful professional background, you can have the highest confidence you are in capable hands. Dr. Belt enjoyed woodworking in his fathers garage when he was a young man which led him into the field of carpentry early in life. During his college years, he worked as a concrete finisher and framer to help fund his schooling. While completing his Associates degree in paramedicine, Dr. Belt was hired on with the Idaho Falls Fire Department as a firefighter and paramedic. Working as a paramedic, Dr. Belt found his interest in medicine had grown to the point that he felt motivated to return full time to school in order to pursue a pre-med degree. In 2004, Dr. Belt completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelors of Science in zoology from Idaho State University. Dr. Belt felt that Dentistry would be the perfect marriage of the hand skills acquired during years of woodworking and carpentry with his newly acquired interest in applied medicine. He was then privileged to attend and complete his DMD degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas Dental School in 2008. Since that time, he has worked in a number of different private practice environments which have added skill and depth to his clinical capabilities.
Dr. Belt feels fortunate to live and play in Durango where adventure can be had from the mountains to the desert. In his spare time, Dr. Belt spends as much time as possible exploring all of the natural treasures in Durangos own backyard with his wife and 5 children.

This has been my favorite Dental Facility EVER!! I love the staff, always so friendly, personable and accommodating. Dr. Belt is an outdoor enthusiast who also has outstanding talent with providing EXCELLENT dental needs. I love the classic rock playing as background music, and the whole facility is always so clean and organized. Thanks Durango Dental team!! I appreciate each and every one of you, keep up the good work!!

Dr. Belt staff is wonderful and caring. Dr. Belt does great work and he is very nice too. I was very nervous when I had to find a dentist. I wasn't a patient but they took great care of me before my first appointment. It took me a couple visit to not be so nervous but they did everything to make me feel safe and comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Belt a 100% to anyone!

What a life saver! While visiting in the area, my husband developed an abscess and was in terrible pain. Dr. Belt worked us into his busy schedule the same day we called and got him started on antibiotics. His extremely kind and efficient staff then spent considerable time on the phone moving appointments around to make enough room on the schedule so that a root canal could be done the next week. The root canal was done expertly and my husband has no more pain! What a great experience to be taken care of quickly, kindly, and expertly while visiting in a strange town. Thank you Dr. Belt and staff!

Wonderful office with great staff. Dr. Belt is very willing to listen to any concerns and address them without me feeling like I might offend him. Getting my teeth cleaned is always stressful for me. I have finally found a hygienist that was so gentle that I actually was shocked when she said I was done. NEVER have I had such a positive experience having my teeth cleaned. Marie is wonderful. The front office and Dr. Belt are friendly and very nice to deal with.

My wife and I moved to Durango last year and were fortunate to find Durango Dental, Dr. Brad Belt and his amazing staff. Dental Health is a high priority to us and finding Dr. Belt gives us a great deal of comfort. Dr. Belt is phenomenal and his staff is amazing. Durango Dental is a professional and clean facility with wonderful staff. Every employee is so welcoming, kind, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Durango Dental: What an amazing dental facility - top of the line in my book. Some of the kindest people are working there. Doctor Brad Belt is a "dental artist". I had a slight opening on my teeth that I just wanted covered. A sealant use to reside in the opening, but now it was exposed (but shallow). There was no decay of the teeth; it was just an opening. He decided that a filling would be better. I came home and looked in the mirror and I absolutely could not believe how realistic and artistic-looking the filling appeared. My teeth looked the same as in high school. The facility looks fabulous and has top of the line dental equipment and telecommunication systems. They have personal artwork and photography on the walls which is refreshing. All the employees look great in black and turquoise/teal. I appreciated that they were masked up. And they played music that rocks the soul. The Doctor is also very nice to look at so that is a plus :) ... It is truly a great dental facility and Doctor Belt is phenomenal at his job. I enclosed a photo for the reader to decide. The pic is a bit blurry, but believe me, it looks great in person. Durango Dental? I highly recommend it.

Great experience. Dr. Belt and his entire team are caring regarding your comfort and office staff is friendly, caring as well. I recently had a crown prep done, I was concerned about pain and it was totally painless. If looking for a dentist, I would highly recommend Durango Dental. I feel like I am treated like extended family. They are professional, caring and friendly.

let me preface this by saying i hate going to the dentist and i have bad teeth. ok here we go, i love this place! everyone who works there is so nice and funny. Dr Belt is gentle and calm. everyone was very understanding and helpful with my anxiety. and Marie is just the funniest dental hygienist I've ever met. my whole life I've hated every dentist I've ever seen, i can't say that anymore. ***i wrote this review after my 4 visit. consistently great. ****Update to my review 2020*** Dr Belt is an anti masker. He told me he doesn't think people should have to wear masks out and about during the pandemic. With him being a healthcare professional I found this shocking and stopped going immediately.

I simply cannot recommend Durango Dental highly enough. The whole crew is exceptionally friendly, attentive and fun. From the front desk to the assistants to Doc Belt, they offer superior service and exceptional professionalism. I had a dental emergency as a brand new patient and they got me in quickly, outlined the options, and provided superior work. I couldn't be happier. I never thought I would look forward to going to the dentist!!!
