Dr. Julio attended DePaul University for his undergraduate education followed by the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry where he received his doctorate of dental surgery in 2013. Dr. Julio is truly a general dentist in the fact that he does all aspects of dentistry including oral surgery, root canals, family dentistry, pediatric dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. He has completed countless hours of continuing education to be able to treat his patients with the best care possible.
He is an active member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, International Dental Implant Association, American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, the Hispanic Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is completing his fellowship/mastership in implantology with the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
Dr. John Yancey is a native of Lake County, Illinois. After graduating from St. Josephs College in Indiana, Dr. Yancey worked for Abbott Laboratories for several years before enrolling in the University of Illinois Dental School. He graduated in 1984 and completed a General Practice Hospital Residency at Lincoln Medical Center in New York City in 1985, where he received additional advanced training in all phases of dentistry.
For over 25 years, Dr. Yancey has provided exceptional dental care to his patients. He has an in-depth experience in implantology and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Yancey utilizes the most advanced materials and technology in his effort to keep current with the latest advances in the dental industry. With the philosophy that dentistry is a partnership, Dr. Yancey educates his patients on the best oral care available, allowing them to achieve optimal dental health. He believes that improving a patients smile through cosmetic dentistry has a positive impact on self-confidence and overall appearance.

I had chipped one of my front teeth and had a weeding coming up in a few short days. After stopping by two other dentist offices and being a turned away, I was driving home and saw Dupage Family Dental. I told the staff my situation, they immediately started taking my information, they even called and worked with my dental insurance. The dentist was amazing and funny. He not only fixed my tooth but cleaned my teeth, leaving them better than they were when I walked in. Myself and my family will be going to this dental office moving forward.

I was very excited, to my surprise. I called to make an appointment. I got one that same minute . I wasn't sure about my dentist plan. Since I hadn't used it. Angie and other young lady didn't get her name. Helped me get the info. They needed to cover me. Donna did her best at examining & cleaning my teeth. Explaining how I should care for my teeth. Dr. Julio is very educated , caring and adviced me as to what dental work to get done first. I was very pleased that day.

First xrays were taken, then i had my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist took her time, she was very polite and treated me like a friend. Then the dentist came in and review the xrays; he went over them and told me I had no cavities. I was so nurvous going because it was my first time at this facility. I'm so glad I made the switch. Their all amazing!!!

I had an emergency and was fitted in for an appointment quickly and efficiently! Dr. Julio is very kind. He made sure I understood what was needed to make an informed decision and explained the procedure as it unfolded! The office personnel I had contact with were helpful and friendly. I called Dr Argueta office to see if I can get a same day appointment for some tooth discomfort. This dental practice is absolutely amazing from the ladies at the front desk and beyond. The woman at the front desk did not hesitate to get me in the same day. She was kind and professional. My X-ray tech was extremely caring and was gentile taking X-rays. Dr Julio made me feel like I was the only patient he was seeing. I never felt rushed. He listens to your concerns, he explained everything in full details. Needless to say I will be transferring over my dental care to Dr Julio. THIS IS A WONDERFUL AND CARING PRACTICE.

Great staff and Dr.Julio is friendly. Office is extremely nice, clean, technology is great. Even after moving out of town, my family and I choose to drive 30 minutes to see DuPage Family Dental.

We are so glad to have found Dupage Family Dental a couple years ago! Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful. My 3 kids are comfortable going for check ups and Dr. Julio is always personable and caring. They never pressure you into having work done, nor do they make you feel bad about your teeth. Great dentist for the whole family!
