Moving the teeth and adjusting the bite is an extremely precise science, and to make sure we deliver exactly what a patient needs each and every time, we rely on state-of-the-art technology, like the iTero scanner. This allows us to capture a highly detailed digital impression of a patients teeth in minutes. We also maintain a 3D printing lab where we fabricate our own clear aligners and many more instruments designed to make our care as seamless and productive as possible.

Dr. Barfield earned his dental degree at the University of North Carolina (where he met THE Michael Jordan), and then he completed an Advanced General Dentistry Residency with the US Air Force. He then served as the Staff Comprehensive Dentist at Barksdale Airforce Base, before returning to his hometown to practice family and esthetic dentistry for 16 years. He went on to complete a Residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Nevada.
Dr Barfield and Dr. Lewis are both huge fans of travel and culture and have been to some of the most interesting places you would imagine. He is a sports superfan and never misses a game that involves the Braves, Tarheels, or Atlanta United. He also is a certified scuba diver. A big believer in giving back, he currently serves on the Clinical Review Panel for the Smiles Change Lives Foundation, which helps underprivileged families gain access to top-tier orthodontic care.
