Dr. Angela Ojibway is a Marietta native who graduated from Wheeler High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry from Wake Forest University. She received her second degree from Virginia Polytechnic & State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Ojibway graduated with honors from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2004, and she has been practicing dentistry in the Marietta/East Cobb area for nearly ten years. A strong believer in continuing education as a means to ensure that her patients receive the highest quality dental care, Dr. Ojibway received her Cerec training certification specializing in porcelain inlays and onlays and is an Invisalign-certified provider. She has completed the Core Curriculum at the Dawson Academy, which teaches essential principles of complete dentistry with concentrations in dental occlusion, the TMJs, esthetic smile design, and comprehensive restorative dentistry. Dr. Ojibway is an active member of the prestigious Hinman Dental Society, which hosts one of the top continuing education programs for over 20,000 dental professionals each year in Atlanta.
Along with being committed to her patients, Dr. Ojibway is dedicated to her family. Her surname, which is often a topic of discussion with her patients, has an American Indian heritage derived from the Chippewa tribe in Minnesota from her husband Bradys family. [He was born at the naval base in Norfolk, Virginia, and his extended family resides in Richmond, Virginia, where he met Dr. Ojibway while she was in dental school. They have been married for twelve years, and have three beautiful children: Sydney (9), Kaylen (7), and Brayden (3). The family dog is a yorkie poo named Carly. Their family attends Buckhead Church, a campus of NorthPoint Community Church.
John W. Bruce D.D.S., F.A.G.D. has been in private practice in Atlanta since 1976. He received a Bachelors degree in chemistry from Emory University and his dental degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. He was born in Panama, grew up in Australia and has lived in the Atlanta area since 1967 where he shares his home with his wife Dana of 25 years and two children, Haley and Ian.
Dr. Bruce is committed to providing only the highest quality dental care possible. He was awarded a Fellowship in 1987 from The Academy of General Dentistry, and awarded a Fellowship in 1993 from the American Society of Osseointegration. His professional expertise covers all aspects of dentistry. He has amassed extensive post graduate training in Orthodontics, Implantology, Endodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Sedation. He was also a member of the first graduating class of Invisalign trained general dentists in the country.
Dr. Bruce is an active member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry , Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Society, Norcross Dental Study Club, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Orthodontic Society, International Association for Orthodontics, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International College of Oral Implantology and the Dental Organization for Conscience Sedation.
Dr. Christine McGowan is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduation, Dr. McGowan completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency program prior to entering private practice. Throughout her almost twenty years as a dentist, she has completed hundreds of hours of Dental Continuing Education.
In her private practice Dr. McGowan strives to improve the health and well being of all patients with a relationship based approach and through complete and comprehensive dentistry. She is committed to creating an exceptional and friendly dental experience. Dr. McGowan was recently named a Top Doctor by Atlanta Magazine.
In her free time, Dr. McGowan loves spending time with her husband Brian, and their five sons and family pet named Lily. She enjoys tennis, pilates, pizza and cooking. She is an active volunteer at her sons schools and with their sports.

Dr. John Bruce has been our dentist for over 30 years. He is professional, stays in touch with the latest techniques, and is remarkably friendly. He's only interested in perfection and he communicates really well. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Bruce.

I feel confident in recommending the Dental Care Center at the Kennestone location. They do a good job explaining the work to be done. They also make sure that I am comfortable to make the experience as pain free as possible. I like the results of the work that they do too. They help me with reminders of appointments and follow up afterwards to check on any lingering pain.

I am leaving a one star review for Dunwoody Family & Cosmetic Dentistry because of their front office staff. I find them to be very unpleasant and have terrible customer service. I have been going to Dr. Bruce since I was a young child and I remember the front office staff being so welcoming and kind. Many of them knew I had been a client there for years. However, the new staff do not care if you're a long time client or new. They don't care about you at at all. They're super heavy handed with coming down on you for balances. They're very accusatory and terribly rude. If it wasn't for Dr. Bruce, I wouldn't have stayed as a loyal client. However, if the front office remains this rude, I will definitely find someone else, which is sad because I really loved this office and have fond memories here.

I have nothing but great things to say about this practice! Dr. Bruce and Dr. Ojibway provide thorough, compassionate care and have been so patient with my anesthetic allergy. Their entire staff make the dental experience as pleasant as possible, from making prompt appointments to providing excellent hygiene services and clear billing. Hands down the best dental office I've ever visited. From the office staff to the dentists, everyone is so patient, friendly, caring, tentative and helpful. From my first visit, I could tell I had made a great decision choosing them. The technology was advanced (who wouldn't want a 3D imagine of their teeth!), very educational and everyone ensured I understood what was recommended. My needs were put first immediately. I needed a tooth extraction and I was so afraid. Dr. Ojibway and the hygienist made me feel so comfortable. It was so easy I literally cried after the extraction was over. After moving to Atlanta, this will be my forever dentist. Look no further!
