Dunwoody Dental was founded by Dr. Minta Lopez-Torres and Dr. Amy Mosseri in 2002 after graduating from the University of Florida in 2001. They wanted to build a dental practice in Sanford where they could form relationships with patients and their families, and nurture a gentle and welcoming atmosphere. Dunwoody Dentals doctors and staff strive to take the entire patient into account and partner with them to maintain a healthy mouth and beautiful smile. My name is Dr. Mosseri, I was raised in Lake Mary where I graduated from Lake Mary High School. Following high school, I attended the University of Florida where I received my BS in Zoology. After graduating, I continued my education at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, earning a Doctorate in Dental Medicine. I have enjoyed practicing dentistry in Central Florida since 2003. I reside in Lake Forest and have a son, Austin and triplet daughters, Ava, Sophie and Jocelyn.
My name is Minta Lopez-Torres but I am known by patients as Dr. LT. I was born and raised in Amelia Island, Florida. I attended the University of Florida for undergraduate, where I received a degree in Nutritional Sciences. I continued on at UF for Dental School and graduated with my DMD degree in 2003. I met my husband, 'Goose' at UF and after moving to Orlando we were married in 2005. We have 3 children, Matias, Elias and Eva. I was an associate in another office for 4 years prior to opening Dunwoody Dental with my partner and friend Amy Hertz. I love connecting with people and helping them gain confidence in their smiles and oral health. My patients allow me to love my job.
I have been in the dental field for for many years now, since 2005! I love to help patients find a way to afford their treatment and love getting to know each of our patients; they are like family. I currently reside in Orlando with my husband and have 2 daughters, Rebecca and Makayla. In my free time I love to workout and be outdoors.
I started in dentistry in 2017. I am very eager to learn new things and meet new people. I am a native Floridian and currently reside in Sorrento with my husband. We have 4 children, Madeline, Matthew, Alexis, and Cheyenne. In my free time I love spending time with my family, taking vacations, hunting, fishing, and the beach.
Growing up I visited the dentist and orthodontist on a frequent basis. I believe that is where my interest in dentistry started. My goal is to make sure our patients are comfortable and have a good understanding of their dental treatment. In my free time I enjoy taking my dog to the dog park, baking sweets for loved ones, and enjoying the beach with my husband.
I have been in the dental field since graduating from SFC in Gainesville, FL in 2005. I spent my first 4 years as a dental assistant prior to becoming a dental hygienist. ' I have a passion for dentistry and patient care. I am very blessed to be a part of the Dunwoody family.'
My early experience in dentistry was assisting in Oral Surgery. After 8 years of assisting I continued my education and became a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist. I have been a Dental Hygienist since 2005 and part of the Dunwoody Dental team since 2008. I enjoy educating patients about their oral health and take pride in providing thorough, yet gentle care. The environment at Dunwoody Dental is like home away from home. We feel like family to each other and to our patients. I currently reside in Orlando with my husband and son. We love to travel and explore outdoors!
I have been in the dental field since 1986 and graduated from dental hygiene school in 1994. I enjoy educating and helping our patients with all their dental needs. Currently I reside in Debary with my husband and 2 children.
I have been a hygienist since graduating Valencia College in 1998. One of my goals as a hygienist is to help patients understand the importance of good oral hygiene and help them achieve optimal oral health. I was born and raised in Orlando. I have 2 children, Trent and Allie. When not at work I enjoy spending time with my kids hiking and traveling.
I have worked as a dental hygienist since 2009. I love helping my patients achieve their optimal oral health through education and gentle, thorough care. I live in Sanford with my husband and 2 sons. I enjoy fitness and traveling.
My passion for dentistry started when I was in middle school as I shadowed my future sister-in-law in her career as a dental assistant. Through the years, my passion grew stronger to provide gentle care in oral health with goals in achieving a beautiful smile. I feel honored and privileged to share my passion with Dunwoody Dental. I am a native Floridian who resides in Apopka. Away from the office I enjoy spending time with family and my grandson, Jameson.
I have been in the dental field since 2011. I love being able to make patients feel more comfortable and love helping them feel more confident with their smile. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors with my family.

I always feel like I'm being well treated - starting with the front desk staff, to the tech's that clean my teeth, to Dr Mosseri when she has had to perform dental work, to the crew that manages the billing. It's a great experience - and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

From the minute you walk in the door you feel well cared for. The office staff, hygienists, and doctors are so friendly and really care about you as a patient, and what is best for your individual care. Highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic customer service and patient care from the staff and Doctor Mosseri. Very kind and encouraging about the areas of my dental health that were good, while also being straightforward with the areas that I need to improve. Great cleanings. Very professional and welcoming environment.

Go here! Honestly never have been a fan of the dentist, I mean who is. But at Dunwoody Dental everyone and everyone is super nice and helpful. They make sure you are good and comfortable. I personally have been working with Dr. A. Mosseri. She is the best, always asking if you're okay. You can tell she loves what she does and would do it regardless of if she was paid or not. I have had multiple teeth fixed and it has never hurt or been uncomfortable once. Like I said go here if you are looking for a dentist, we'll worth it.

This is an amazing practice. Both Dr Lopez-Torres and Dr Mosseri are excellent. I really do feel like family when I walk in. They have always taken great care of me and my family. I really love the staff also. When the front desk/receptionist left I was genuinely sad. This is an upbeat and fun place to go.

I had an excellent experience at Dunwoody Dental. The staff, all inclusive, was so impressive. The facility is state of the art, high tech and yet very personal. My doctor was very thorough in understanding and discussing my dental history and needs. She carefully reviewed my scans, and examined me closely for oral, head and neck abnormalities along with a very thorough checkup. As a new Floridian having just moved to the area it was so reassuring to find this compassionate and very capable group to handle my dental needs. Everyone hates going to the dentist, but this was the best and most reassuring dental appointment I have ever experienced.

On August 11th I emailed Dunwoody Dental through their portal to speak with someone about making an appointment. Today is 8/19 and no one has gotten back to me. In addition I called on 8/17 at 11 am and could not get ahold of anyone. I was only able to leave my telephone #. Dunwoody Dental has had over a week to at the very least to return my call or email me and they didn't. Obviously, i'm taking my business elsewhere. This is a failure on your companies end. I hope that other people see and think twice about using your companies service.

My son and I had an amazing experience at Dunwoody Dental. It was the first time my 3 year old son visited a dental office and it was great. The hygienist and Dr. Hertz were extremely nice and professional. I'm switching the entire family to Dunwoody. Thank you!

My last dentist advised me I needed a deep gum cleaning and went to Dunwoody for a 2nd opinion per a recommendation from a co-worker. They checked it out and told me I didn't. Since then they've earned my loyalty. Plus, they all have a great 'bedside manner.' I highly recommend this practice.
