Dr. Courtney Dunn is a third generation Arizona native. She was born in Phoenix and attended Xavier College Preparatory. She completed her BS in Biology at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and her DDS and MS in Orthodontics at the University of Michigan. Dr. Dunn was awarded the prestigious Milo Hellman Award from the American Association of Orthodontists for her groundbreaking research project on gene therapy.
Dr. Dunn attended the University of Michigan for his BS (Biology), DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) and MS (Orthodontics). Matthew is the recipient of both the prestigious Thomas M. Graber Award of Special Merit and the Charles Shultz Resident Scholar Award from the American Association of Orthodontists.

Courtney is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, is Past-President of the Arizona State Orthodontic Association and serves on the Council on Communications for the American Association of Orthodontists. She was also the Editor for the Women in Orthodontics section of The Progressive Orthodontist Magazine.
FOUNDER, WOMEN IN ORTHODONTICS In 2016, Courtney founded Women in Orthodontics and runs an online study group with over 2,200 female orthodontists across the globe. Women in Orthodontics has become the go-to place for reliable clinical and business information in a supportive environment. Because of Courtneys varied experiences, she has been interviewed by Fox News Channel, NPR, AZ 3TV, and Phoenixs CBS 5.
CONSULTANT When Courtney founded Women in Orthodontics, she was looking to build a legacy for the profession of orthodontics. By giving women doctors a forum and a voice, she has worked to make the profession of orthodontics more inclusive. In addition, she wanted to take the knowledge she learned from running a successful business in unfavorable conditions and help other orthodontists thrive.

With her husband, they run several mastermind groups, workshops and in-office training events for orthodontists, office managers, marketing coordinators and treatment coordinators.
AUTHOR Dr. Courtney Dunn writes articles for numerous publications on a regular basis. She currently has publications in business magazines, dental association journals, scientific journals and even co-authored a book for patients who are interested in orthodontics. Courtney has also been featured on the cover of The Progressive Orthodontist magazine and Orthodontic Products magazine.
ORTHODONTIST Dr. Matthew Dunn is the Co-Founder of Dunn Orthodontics, a multi-location orthodontic practice in Phoenix, Arizona. Dunn Orthodontics has treated over 10,000 patients from more than 35 states including professional athletes (NFL, NBA, MLB), television personalities (ESPN), dentists, hygienists, physicians, lawyers and CEOs along with their families. Dunn Orthodontics was recently named to the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies and the Phoenix Business Journals list of the Largest Family-Owned Businesses in the Phoenix area.

I just got my braces and they feel great! The assistants were very nice, and always taking great care of my teeth. Very clean and nice braces place. They have training assistants there, and they are very nice to me all the time. My teeth feel great after 2 years of braces! Thank you so much!

I've had an excellent experience at Dunn Orthodontics and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in braces. They have been extremely kind and professional. They are able to accommodate follow up visits with ease. I didn't have such a great experience at another orthodontist. I am so glad i switched over here! Couldn't be more happier with my treatment and results.

When I needed immediate treatment as a non patient the office was able to get me in quickly. All the staff members in office and on the phone were respectful and friendly. The building is kept clean and they have all the new technology that makes the process so much easier! I was very pleased with my overall experience. I would definitely recommend Dunn orthodontics!

Dunn Orthodontist is AMAZING!! The decision for me to get braces as an adult was difficult but from Day #1 Dunns made me feel secure in the process and comfortable. Dr. Courtney and Dr. Matt Dunn along with their entire staff were absolutely amazing. After meeting with several orthodontic offices I decided to go with Dunn Orthodontics. Their staff was so friendly and amazing all while making you feel at ease. They knew my name when I walked in for my appointments and you definitely felt more like family immediately after just meeting them. I definitely recommend them to everyone and hands down will make sure my kids come hear if they ever need to get braces.
