Dr. Dunn was raised in Santa Barbara and attended Dos Pueblos High School. He graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University and the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He is committed to life-long professional advancement and education and incorporates the best new predicatable procedures into your care.
Dr. Dunn carries on a family tradition as a professional educator. His father was a long-time professor at SBCC and his grandfather a college president and professor at Cornell University. He is one of a handful of Santa Barbara dentists who are licensed by the California Dental Board as continuing education providers. He has the responsibility of training other dentists in current dental technology and practices in order to renew their licenses. Dr. Dunn is also a member of the American Medical Writer's Association and is approved as a national continuing education provider by the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry. He provides courses on the latest dental technologies nationally and internationally throughout the year and has currently published over 30 courses on contemporary dental procedures.
