Dr. Dunlow feels fortunate to be an orthodontist because he gets the chance every day to help patients of all ages improve their smiles and faces. Dr. Dunlow is a specialist in the field of orthodontics. What does this mean? In addition to the degree he earned in general dentistry at the University of North Carolina, he received 33 months of specialty training, which resultedin his being awarded a certificate in orthodontics and a masters degree in science.
Although Dr. Dunlow is knowledgeable about general dentistry and other specialties in the dental field, he has dedicated himself to providing orthodontic care only. Dr. Dunlow will discuss all your dental needs with you and take them into consideration as we provide your orthodontic care.
Dr. Dunlow loves to learn and believes that one of the most exciting things about orthodontics is that it always keeps him thinking and challenges him to do his best for his patients. Part of doing his best involves staying apprised of the latest techniques and technologies, while thoughtfully evaluating them to determine which ones will truly benefit the patients under his care.
A veteran of the United States Air Force, Dr. Dunlow practiced general dentistry and orthodontics in the military for ten years. His last assignment was at Offutt Air Force Base. While assigned to Offutt, he and his wife, Melissa, decided to make Nebraska their permanent home.
Dr. Dunlow and his wife are the proud parents of two daughters, Lily and Lena. Their family also includes two cats. When Dr. Dunlow isnt at work, youll most likely find him with his family. Theyre the most important people in his life.
Dr. Dunlow is a big fan of 1980s music and music trivia. He also really enjoys movies, exercising, and visiting his daughters school to spread the message regarding dental health and prevention of dental disease.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

We took our 8 yr old to get a consult about braces. Jennifer and Dr. Dunlow were great to him. They explained everything to us and to our child. Our son is no longer nervous about getting braces and we're excited to be able to start the process with Dr. Dunlow and his staff. Thank you!

Just went in for a free consultation to see what the options were. Every worker was very nice and really helped me out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone looking for braces for their children or themselves to go to Dr.Dunlow.

We were refered to Dulow by our dentist after our daughter had completed her braces treatment with another Orthodontist and still had issues with spacing between her front two teeth. After addressing a scheduling mishap they quickly found a way to fit us in and didn't rush us through. They took their time listening to our concerns and placed a permanent retainer in a quite difficult spot seamlessly. They made sure everything was perfect and then requested to follow up with us to make sure everything was still in the right position. He explained everything and took no shortcuts for her comfort and how her smile turned out. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and plan to use them for the rest of our children's orthodontic needs.

We were referred to this office for our two sons... one for crowding and the other for an over bite. We were seen within a month of calling and were provided the forms needed in advance via mail. The staff were friendly upon arrival and check our temps outside. The office was very clean and smelled great. Our evaluations went smoothly, and I feel like the staff guided us in the best decision for us at the time. I highly recommend this location/staff to anyone.

The staff were friendly upon arrival and check our temps outside. The office was very clean and smelled great. This is a great orthodontist! I had an issue with a permanent retainer, and being that I got it 10 years ago. Dr. Dunlow not only fixed it, but he went over and above to do it the right way!

Took my son in for an evaluation on two occasions. Thought it was just my imagination but the first time customer service was average and the Orthodontist was not comfortable to be around. He gave the vibe of not wanting to be there. Second time around my husband took our son and he noticed the same behavior (not personable). Focus seemed to be solely on selling not the well-being of the patient.

Wonderful! Not sure what the other review was about but everyone here is really friendly and helpful. Just because someone isn't "bubbly" doesn't mean they aren't friendly. Couldn't be happier with my experience. Highly recommend. I also really like that they have an affordable payment plan.
