The people I meet and work with are the most vital parts of my dental practice. I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals, whether Im helping patients achieve the smile they want or health they deserve, or working with my team members to achieve their own professional goals.

My team and I understand that choosing a dentist can be a difficult decision, which is why when trust is built between a dentist and a patient, a long-term relationship follows. I appreciate the trust and faith my patients have in me, and I find it so rewarding to build those relationships.

I grew up on National Wildlife Refuges in Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, and California. I moved to the Olympic Peninsula, Port Angeles specifically, in 2006 and moved the short distance to Sequim in 2015.

My wife Kristen was a Navy brat as a kid, living abroad for many of her childhood years. We have known each other since our senior year in high school, and were wildlandfirefighters during our college summers, which was a great way to help pay for tuition, books, and expenses. She worked for Cisco Systems in the California bay area as an IT Ananlyst and Project Manager, was the marketing coordinator for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula for a while and spent some time as a portrait photographer.

My oldest daughter Kariya juniorat Sequim High School. She enjoys soccer, strength training, and choir. You may have seen her in school and community productions. She also loves to draw. My youngest daughter Taryn is a freshmanat Sequim High School. Like her sister, she enjoys soccer, strength training,and choir, but she also loves to play basketball and ride her scooter. We also have several furry and feathered friends that run around our small family farm. We currently have cows, goats, chickens, ducks, and two dogs.

When Im not at work, I can usually be found working on the farm, feeding cows and goats, and working with the tractor. I also spend a lot of time supporting my children in sports and theater performances.

I feel its important to understand the communitys needs and work together to meet those needs. I enjoy speaking to Sequim students about dental health and the field of dentistry, andI support Kristen in her efforts to connect with the community with volunteering and working with school functions and non-profits. She enjoys giving back to the Trey Green Guild (a non-profit supporting Seattle Childrens Hospital) and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula.

Dr. Turella was born in Scotland and grew up in a suburb outside of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. She received an undergraduate BS in Biology from the University of Richmond, Virginia where she graduated cum laude with departmental honors. She then went on to attend the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine on an Army HPSP Scholarship. After graduating with her DMD in 2004, Dr. Turella served four years as a Dental Officer in the US Army while stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. At the conclusion of her military service, she continued her career and Federal service as a staff dentist for the Veteran's Administration at American Lake, Washington (2008-2009) and El Paso, Texas (2009-2013).

In 2011, while in El Paso, Dr. Turella was awarded the prestigious Harry S. Truman Memorial 'Hands & Heart Award.' This award is given annually to the VA provider whose compassion and dedication to Veterans represents the highest standards in patient care. She prides herself on effective patient communication and she believes firmly in patient education/involvement in their pending treatment.

She also has a passion for preventative dental education. Since coming to the Peninsula in 2013, she volunteers her time in local elementary, pre-schools and middle schools annually in an effort to expand the dental IQ of local children. She furthers her service to our community by serving on the board of our local boys and Girls Club. Dr. Kirsti Turella prides herself on compassionate patient care and service to her community.

In her free time Dr. Turella enjoys crafting, cooking, home improvement projects, and above all spending time with her family, which includes her daughters, Libby and Clare, her husband Steve and her golden retriever, Ray.

Originally from England, I moved to California in 1984 and to Sequim in 2010. I love living near the mountains and the ocean! Ive been married for more than 35 years; my husband served in the Air Force. We have one daughter going into high school this year. I like to spend my time with my family, and caring for my chickens, dogs and cats, and garden. I also like to papercraft.

I began as a sterilization tech in 2016 before hygiene school. I shadowed my parents, who are both dental hygienists, and graduated from Clark College in June 2018 with a Bachelors degree inScience and Dental Hygiene.Dr. Johnson creates a friendly and welcoming work environment, and our team works as a cohesive unit. I have lived in Sequim most of my life. I enjoy playing soccer, piano, and guitar. Im a singer, and Ive performed solo and in choir since the 5th grade and haveparticipated in theater since I was young.You may have seen me perform in Sequim High School productions!

Travis and I have two daughters, Kariya and Taryn. They are in their teen and preteen years, respectively, and most of the time outside the office and work is spent at plays, recitals, and soccer and basketball games. I also enjoy supporting some great local organizations, volunteering with the Trey Green Guild, which raises money for uncompensated care at Seattle Childrens Hospital.

I am a project girl. I have always been an artistic person and have many ongoing projects, along with the tools needed for their creation. My now-adult children grew up with a mom who built forts, along with other carpentry efforts, created stained glass, and who painted with acrylic and canvas. My two older sons worked as set designers/decorators in Hollywood for 17 years and my daughter has a degree in architecture and is an interior designer.
