Dr. Dunegan completed the Leadership Prince William program and has supported many organizations over the years. He has volunteered at the Prince William and Fauquier County Free clinics, supported the Prince William Hospital Friends of the Foundation, and enjoys working on a bingo team at his Church, All Saints, in Manassas. He is also a past president of both the Northern Virginia Orthodontic Study Club and the Manassas Dental Society.
In his free time, Dr. Dunegan enjoys skiing, playing golf, and traveling. He is a big sports fan and follows the Steelers and Notre Dame closely. Dr. Dunegan met his wife, Patti, while doing his residency in Rochester, NY, and together they have 3 children and two dogs, Piper and Rosie.
Dr. David Cole grew up in the Allegheny mountains in Ridgway, PA very close to where Dr. Dunegan grew up. He is a 3rd generation orthodontist and had the amazing opportunity to see how dentistry and orthodontics could impact lives from a young age. As a teenager, he worked in his familys office making appliances and assisting with patients. He joined his family on numerous trips to the Dominican Republic to provide basic dental care to hundreds of people there who have no access to the care that we take for granted. It was there that he realized dentistry could be a way to help people in a very tangible way. He saw firsthand the impact that smile transformation had on a persons self-worth and in many ways, their future. The rest was history.
Dr. Cole graduated at the top of his class from Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, after completing undergrad at Grove City College where he met and married his wife, Cassie. He went on to specialize in Orthodontics at the prestigious MCV in Richmond, VA. He immediately completed the grueling board certification process and is proud to say that he is one of few orthodontists certified by the American Board of Orthodontists. Dr. Cole has worked in Northern Virginia for the past few years, specializing in smile esthetics and clear aligner therapy.
