Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Doctor Carver Little completed his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia. During this time, he had the opportunity to conduct a research project with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention exploring the link between gum disease and cardiovascular disease. While he had always had an interest in the dental field, this experience only strengthened his desire to serve the community through oral health care. Doctor Little graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington, Connecticut, and upon graduation undertook a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Florida.
Doctor Little has an ongoing commitment to organized dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the West Coast District Dental Association, the Pinnacle Dental Study Club, the Upper Pinellas County Dental Association, and currently holds the office of treasurer of the Hillsborough County Dental Research Clinic.
Doctor Little's commitment to continuing education is evidenced by his participation in numerous courses including complex case treatment, orthodontics, TMJ, endodontics, and cosmetic restorations. Doctor Little's personal interests include scuba diving, running, kayaking, working on cars, and travel. Dr. Little along with his wife and children have made the Tampa Bay Area their home.

I have been going to Dunedin family dentistry for 25+ years. I was a bit cautious of a new dentist after so many years with Dr Pitts but was quickly impressed by Dr Little, his experience, confidence and how he and the staff treated me. Like most people, I don't look forward to dental issues but am very glad to have this practice available to me to get me fixed with as little anxiety as possible. Nice work guys !!

I found Dr. Little 4 1/2 years ago when I moved here and I can honestly say that I have never in my life experienced such a great dental experience. Like many, I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but Dr.Little and his staff have always made me feel safe and calm. They take their time, they listen, and they are really just a top notch bunch.

Going to a dentist is my least favorite thing to do. BUT! Dr. Carver Little is my favorite dentist in my life time. He is kind, gentle, informative and is a phenomenal dentist. I came here a few years ago with very neglected teeth because I hated going to the dentist. It only meant pain to me. To this day I go regularly, my teeth and gums all healthy ONLY because of Dr. Little and his AMAZING team. My hygienist Maddie is fantastic with her gentle skills and friendly personality. The ladies that greet you when you first walk in are so inviting and friendly. Look no further. This is is the place to go for a wonderful healthy experience! Did I mention their new location is absolutely transformed into a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you Dunedin Family Dentist!

We found Dr. Little's office through a reddit thread of recommendations in the Clearwater/Palm Harbor area after moving down here from MN. Everything from routine cleanings to my husband's invisalign (due to teeth grinding) to our kids pediatric dentistry has been A++. Thorough, calm, patient explanations and clear reasons for each procedure/treatment. We feel well cared for and definitely would recommend!!!
