I love being a dentist! Over the years, I have had the opportunity to meet countless wonderful people and have established strong friendships with many patients and their families. It has always been my focus to make each patient feel at home in my office, and I work hard to give my patients the attention they deserve.
I strive to exceed patient expectations by offering outstanding dentistry with genuine care in a comfortable, stress-free environment. I use the latest equipment and cutting-edge techniques to provide dentistry that is faster, easier, better and less expensive. I am never too busy to sit down with you and discuss your treatment. I will present you with multiple treatment options and together, we will pick the one that best fits you and your budget.
I attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, graduating in 2005 with my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I worked in private practice in southeast Michigan until 2008 when my wifes enrollment in graduate school brought us to Columbus. Here, I worked for four years as an associate dentist before deciding to open my own office.
Continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and the best results. I am certified in Invisalign, Zoom!, and have advanced training in laser dentistry. I am currently pursuing a fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor awarded to the top 7% of U.S. dentists. I am a member of:

Following her dental training, Dr. Carr completed three years of orthodontic residency at The Ohio State University, earning a specialty certificate and a Master of Science degree. While at Ohio State, Dr. Carr conducted research on how to improve patient and parent understanding of treatment with braces. Her favorite part of working as an orthodontist is getting to know her patients and their families. It is amazing to watch patients grow up and a privilege to be a part of creating their wonderful smiles.
Dr. Carr and her husband, Justin, live in Delaware with their two children Gemma (6) and Everett (4). When Dr. Carr is away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and traveling. Dr. Carr is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Ohio Dental Association.
Dr. Wangwas born in Liaoning, China and attended primary school in Akita, Japan. He then moved to America alongside his parents to Cincinnati, Ohio. After completing his high school education in Cincinnati, Dr.Wang attended The Ohio State University for his Bachelors Degree. He continued his education at OSU and eventually earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in OSUs College of Dentistry. He proudly followed in his parents footsteps, who are also both dentists.
Dr. Ameha is a back to back Buckeye receiving both his Bachelors Degree and his D.D.S. from THE Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He then went on to complete a residency in general dentistry at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH where he obtained advanced education in IV sedation and oral surgery. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and Ohio Dental Association.
He believes that excellent dental skills and offering amazing oral care is a good start, but ultimately it is about understanding each patients unique situation, their biology and their background. Hisgoal is to help patients understand what is going on in their mouth so that they can make the best informed decisions about their dental health.

I specifically like Dr. Dugas. He takes his time to talk WITH YOU. It's a completely different experience planning together your oral health and treatments. He has really nice and new equipment. His practice is geared towards adults but I bring my small child here for check ups. My one critique would be making the waiting room more kid friendly. Otherwise an excellent experience every time I go.

I am very happy with Dugas Dental. Dr. Dugas is very caring and compassionate. They have a great office team. I always feel like they listen to me and show care for my health. They have the newest equipment and techniques. Highly recommend. PS Kenzie is especially awesome.

I was a regular client for the 3 years that I lived in Columbus. But I retired and moved out of state 18 months ago. Dr Dugas was always great and his office staff was exceptional, but things seemed to change when he expanded a couple of years ago. I went there for my final appointment right before I moved, hoping that they could repair the partial that they had made for me a year earlier. They could not, and they referred me elsewhere. But then about 15 months later, I received a bill for services rendered during that appointment. I responded and asked for an explanation, but I never received a reply. Sometimes when a business expands, they can lose the personal touch that attracts clients in the first place. I am sorry to say that is what has happened to this practice.

My family has been going to Dr. Dugas since I was a kid and I can honestly say that I feel extremely taken care of every time I come in. I always leave feeling more confident than when I came in! The front desk staff and the dental assistants are also always so sweet. I always feel like a friend when I come in:)

I had Dr. Kenyon for a filling replacement that had fallen out today and Claire assisted/placed the filling. I didn't feel the injection for numbing at all. Dr. Kenyon did a great job. They were both very friendly and did a great. Can't even tell it was done!

Super friendly and patient with anxious clients. As a black woman I am always weary of what kind of service I will receive as I've had some doctors treat me poorly but every single person on staff here has been beyond amazing. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you Dr Dugas Dr Wang and Kelly!

I chose this dentist due to the positive reviews, the technology, and partnership with an orthodontist. I was really impressed during my first visit with how friendly, knowledgeable, and informative the staff was throughout the entire visit. I have received the same level of excellent service every visit and that's why I choose to stay with Dugas Dental.

Amazing Dentist and Staff! Everyone is very understanding and amazing when it comes to insurance and overall dental care. I will be telling my friends and family to switch their dentist and go to Dr. Dugas from now! He cares about his patients and doesn't just run out of the room when his job is done. He also doesn't just sugar coat things like my previous dentist did to me, leaving me with lots of fillings I needed but had no idea until i needed serious work which costed me way more then what was discussed. I now have peace of mind when thinking about my teeth, thanks to Dr. Dugas. I could go on and on about how amazing this office is.

Appointment for a filling, and it was not like in past with other dentist. Numbing shot did not hurt, as the hygienist slowly administered the medication! That's the secret to painless! I will never fear that procedure again! My comfort is Dr Dugas priority!

I started having some pain in a tooth, so I called the office and they went out of their way to work me in the next day. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating and the office looks great. Makenzie, the dental assistant always make me feel at home, offers me water, and we had the best conversation! Dr. Douglas is the best in the field and I've had a lot of dental work done. He explains every step before the procedure and makes sure your comfortable before he proceeds. I was the last appointment of the day and it was suppose to be a quick look at my tooth, instead my crown came in that afternoon so he went out of his way to say me another visit and seated my crown!! What a great place to have your dental work done, I would highly recommend this practice!

I am not pleased with the office at all. My husband and I have been coming here for several years now. They recently are no longer in our network and demand 10% of the cleaning charge upfront. The price of a cleaning has gone up 100 dollars since May when my husband was just there. I did not appreciate the demanding condescending attitude from the front desk girl. You walk in and 1st thing..... "MAM WE NEED 10% OF YOUR BILL TODAY UPFRONT!" I also don't like the fact that this office does not offer nitrous. I had a terrible experience in Feb during a painful procedure. They do offer IV's, but who wants that? Most people want to drive themselves home. If I am going to be price gouged then I need an office that is going to keep me comfortable during the occasional more involved procedure. I have had enough. My husband and I will be going elsewhere.
