Dr. Larry Duffield graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1982. Since then, he has obtained postgraduate certifications in placing dental implants from the Misch International Implant Institute and a fellowship at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. In 2016, he was awarded clinical instructor status at the world-renowned Kois Center in Seattle.

As both a general dentist and a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Duffield loves being able to take care of all his patients needs in one location. Thats why he offers a wide variety of dental services, which include cosmetic dentistry like teeth whitening and veneers. Because of his training at the Misch International Implant Institute, he is able to place both dental implants and restorations, an important skill that ensures a consistent process for his patients. Dr. Duffield also offers sedation dentistry, dental crowns, root canals, orthodontics, gum disease treatment, and more.

Dr. Duffield is currently a member of numerous organizations, including the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Oakland County Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Francis B. Vedder Society, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Rotary Club of Royal Oak. He is also involved in numerous charitable organizations, including Tri-County Health and the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped. Staying involved in both dental associations and Royal Oak community organizations allows him to provide his patients the highest quality of care in a warm, personal environment. It also grants him the opportunity to use his expertise in support of the city hes called home for over 25 years.

When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Duffield enjoys numerous sports, including skiing, tennis, water skiing, golfing, and bicycling. He also loves to travel with his family, including his wife, Donna, and son, William. He enjoys watching William play on various sports teams.

Dr. Lena Mustafa talked about becoming a dentist at an early age. While studying for her undergraduate degree, she became a dental assistant and fell in love with the practice of dentistry. Being in a profession that combined art and medicine was both challenging and rewarding, but the best part was being able to help people every day. She then decided that dentistry was the path she needed to take.

She graduated in 2008 with her bachelors degree in biology and graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2012. That year she began practicing dentistry in her hometown of Dearborn Heights, MI, and then joined our practice in November 2021. She is Invisalign certified and has advanced training in cosmetics through the prestigious Aesthetic Advantage course at NYU. She is a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Her favorite part of being a dentist is the positive impact she has on patients and being part of their journey to self-improvement. Whether its improving their oral health through preventive care, eliminating the pain of a toothache, or building confidence with a smile makeover, she loves having the opportunity to change lives each day.

On her days off, you will find Dr. Mustafa spending time with friends and family. She loves traveling and exploring new restaurants. She also enjoys playing tennis, working out, and baking chocolate chip cookies.

Dr. Kamil Abraham joined our dental practice in May 2021. After receiving orthodontic treatment in his teenage years, Dr. Abraham quickly realized his confidence had grown. He became more outgoing and comfortable with his smile. He attributes this to his dentist and the treatment he received. Realizing the impact his orthodontic treatment had on his life, he wanted to give that same transformation to others while improving their dental health and self-esteem.

After completing a degree in Political Science at the University of Michigan, Dr. Abraham received his Doctor of Dental Surgery while simultaneously obtaining an MBA in healthcare management. Dr. Abraham completed training and received certifications in Invisalign, implant dentistry, IV sedation, sleep apnea appliances, TMJ, PRF, and complex full mouth reconstruction. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and American Academy of Clear Aligners.

Dr. Abraham is personable and takes the time to listen to each individual patient. His gentle touch coupled with his transparency gives every patient a unique experience that meets their needs. He particularly enjoys treating patients that have dental anxiety in hopes of changing preconceived fears of the dentist. When patients leave his office, he loves seeing how amazed they are about their pain-free experience.

When not helping patients in the dental office, Dr. Abraham spends his time at home with his wife, Summer, and daughter Ava. He also enjoys golfing, exercising, learning to cook, and mentoring the next generation in academics and sports.
