The Academy of General Dentistrys mission is to serve the needs and represent the interest of general dentists, to promote oral health, and to foster continued proficiency of general dentists through continuing dental education to better serve the public.
The Academys purpose is to advance the periodontal and general health of the public and promote excellence in the practice of periodontics. Periodontics is one of nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association.
The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry is dedicated to advancing the art and science of cosmetic dentistry and encouraging the highest standards of ethical conduct and responsible patient care among cosmetic dentists.
