Dr. Joseph Dubin entered dentistry as a second career. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, from which he graduated in 1997, Dr. Joeworked in the television industry for five years.Even though working in the media was exciting, he was not fulfilled and wanted to work with and help people.
He decided to follow in his father's footsteps, and after some additional coursework at Hunter College in New York, Dr. Joeentered Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2004.While at Columbia, Dr. Joewas involved in student government where he represented the entire dental school in the University-wide Senate.Upon graduation, he was awarded the New York Academy of Dentistry Exemplary Professional Conduct Award by the entire faculty.
Dr. Joereceived his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2008 and immediately entered New York University College of Dentistrys Orthodontics and Dentofacial OrthopedicsProgram from where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics in 2010. Dr. Joewas the Chief Resident in his senior year at NYU, was awarded the Invisalign Leadership Award, and presented his research in Osteogenesis at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in 2010.
He is trained in the most advanced techniques used in orthodontics today including temporary anchorage devices, soft tissue laser (Academy of Laser Dentistry certified), lingual orthodontics, self-ligation, Invisalign, and advanced digital imaging.
Dr. Joeis married and met his wife at summer camp when they were teenagers.They live in New York City with their son.Dr. Joeis a passionate sports fan (Mets, Giants, Knicks, Rangers, and Michigan Wolverines) and enjoys skiing, golf, tennis, and basketball.

Dr. Dubin and the entire team are undoubtedly THE best and they are AMAZING. The office is extremely efficient, and team is very knowledgeable. Everyone in the office is so kind and friendly. You get treated with the best care. The office is super clean, everything is so well organized. Every time I step into their place, I know my son is in safe hands. Will definitely recommend Dr. Dubin to anyone who is looking for compassionate care.

I recommend Dubin Orthodontics to anyone who needs Orthodontic treatment . I first went to different orthodontic for my son they said he needs 4 of his permanent tooth extracted but at Dubin no teeth needed to be extracted and also initially we started Invisalign treatment with my son but he was not wearing it regularly so Dr was super nice to treat him with braces instead of Invisalign as per our request . The Dr and entire staff are very friendly and nice

We have been patients of Dubin for several years and have always had wonderful experiences with the Dr. I can honestly say that they treat the kids as family rather than just patients. The kids actually look forward to going to see the Dr!

Our children have been with Dubin Orthodontics for over two years and the care that they get is outstanding. From the staff to the doctor, everyone there makes the kids feel comfortable and keeps the parents informed/involved in the care. The kids love going to see the doctor! How many times have you heard someone say that?? The staff and doctor work with you on what options there are and do not push you into one. It is a very different experience than we have had at other orthodontists. I highly recommend this practice.
