Our dental practice has been in this location for many years. We have seen children grow up before our eyes and have seen parents become grandparents. We have been a multi-generational practice since we started. We pride ourselves on wanting to care for the young toddler all the way up to the great grandparent. Your family becomes our family. We have seen many changes in dentistry, but the one constant is our desire to pass up good for great. We feel that in the dental field you either grow or become stagnant.
We LOVE that our practice has grown, but remains steadfast in our values of great care and kindness to all our patients and staff. We are anchored in our past, but our future is just as solid. Our staff is diversified, educated and driven to give the best care and smiles for a lifetime. We look forward to many more years together and with you.
I was born and raised in Louisville, KY. I went to the University of Kentucky undergraduate and University of Louisville School of Dentistry. I have been practicing dentistry for about the last 27 years. I love helping patients feel comfortable and at ease when they come to our office. Many have become my extended family and I have watched many of them grow up before my eyes.
I have been married to Dr. Chris Williams for 30 years (and yes, we did meet in dental school). We have 4 children-3 sons and a daughter, and we are lucky 3 of the 4 live here in Louisville. I enjoy getting to know my patients and helping them achieve a healthy, beautiful smile. I am extremely fortunate to have the best dental staff around to assist me!
I am a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Following dental school, I completed an additional year of residency in General Dentistry at University of Louisville Hospital. In addition to my south end private practice, I am a part-time faculty member at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry.
I have over 25+ years of experience and pride myself on offering my patients professional and compassionate treatment utilizing the most modern technology. I am fortunate to have what I believe, the best dental team in the state.
Hi! Im Judy Marks, the hygienist at Shively Family Dentistry. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist-RDH with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene Science, -BS. I have 25+ years experience in dentistry. I started out as a dental assistant at the University of Louisville Dental School. I enjoy helping patients learn how to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Watching children in this practice and then grow up and then bring their children here has been so exciting! I am grateful for this practice and I love the team that we have become here. We care for our patients like they were an extension of our own family. One of my hobbies is baking, and I enjoy baking and decorating cakes, cookies, pies and other tasty treats. I am so happy to be here!

Hi, I am Lily and I was born and raised in Guatemala. When I was 13 years old, I moved to New York City, NY then a year or so later I moved here to Louisville. Being originally from Guatemala, I am fluent in both English and Spanish.
Over time I became eager to help patients achieve a smile that is beautiful, functional and healthy; so, I decided to expand my education. I attended Medquest College and received my certification to become an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. In my spare time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I love being in the dental field! The team I work with are not just my coworkers, but I consider them my second family.
