Michele has been with the practice for 18 years. Her duties include cleaning and polishing teeth, instructing patients in good oral hygiene habits, taking X-rays, and taking and recording patients medical history and medication lists.
Oral hygiene is necessary for eliminating bacteria in the mouth. Bacteria builds to form plaque that can harden and lead to long-term ailments such as gingivitis, a mild form of gum disease, and periodontal disease if it is not removed.
At a typical dental exam, our team will thoroughly clean your teeth, removing any surface stains or deposits, called tartar or calculus, that are more difficult to remove than plaque and require the assistance of professional dental instruments. We will also check for signs of decay or gum disease. An X-ray may be performed to provide a more detailed summary of your oral health and to more closely identify any problems.
Dental exams should generally take place every six months. However, consult with our team to decide how often you should be examined, for we may suggest that you visit more frequently based on factors such as smoking, frequency of cavities and genetic susceptibility to tooth and root decay as well as gum disease.

I don't think I could find a more talented and excellent dentist anywhere! I drive several hours just to come to see Dr Drockton. He and all the staff are always so kind and professional. He is not only an excellent dentist, but he is honest and does everything with integrity. I am so grateful to have found him and this great group of professionals!

Highly recommend this dental office. I work with Dr. Drockton and have received excellent care. I've had a wide variety of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, implants. The doctor is skilled in performing these procedures. The dental hygienists are also excellent in performing their related procedures. The staff at the front desk is very efficient and helpful. Everyone is very personable and helpful. Highly recommend this office.

I love them! I've been going to them since I was 20, I'm 34 now. Even before they moved to this location. They do great quality work. Staff is respectful and pleasant from the front to the back. Mrs Denise is my forever hygienist and Dr Drockton is my forever dentist. At least until they retire :) I highly recommend!

Dr. Drockton and his professional, friendly staff provide me and my wife Pamela with excellent care. Dr. Drockton succeeded Dr. Richard Miller in this practice which we've been using since 1979. The medical expertise continues with the same fine standards on which we have always relied. I just had a crown preparation a few days ago. Although it's never something to look forward to, the 90 minutes passed quickly, with negligible discomfort, and even included some enjoyable conversation. Imagine: a dental procedure you hardly notice is happening, while you find the whole experience interesting...and know it will be done right.

As a physician, I generally scrutinize health care providers with respect to each dimension of care quality -- technical care, interpersonal care, convenience, and value. On each of these dimensions Dr Drockton's office excels. I was recommended to him by another physician when I arrived in Cleveland 4 years ago, and I will remain his customer as long as I stay here. He and his office are really that good.

Family oriented facility. I had to have my daughter on my lap while getting my teeth cleaned. The staff was warm and welcoming to her and even gave her a prize when we were done. I've gone before with all 4 of my children and we got all of the appointments quickly accomplished without any wait. Sensitive to the anxieties sometimes associated with getting a cavity filled and helpful guiding children through that process. My son had to have several cavities filled and feels very comfortable with Dr. Drockton thanks to his responsive nature.
