Since the beginning of her career, Dr. Terlet has advocated to provide access to quality dental care for all. Her commitment to preserving community dental health is evidenced by the number of boards and committees she serves. This includes Healthy Kids Healthy Teeth Advisory Board, Chabot College Dental Hygiene Advisory Board Member, First 5 Scientific Advisory Committee Member, Dental Board of California, University of the Pacific Alumni Board Member, and past president, Berkeley Dental Society, California Dental Association Trustee and ADA Council on Government Affairs representing California. Additionally, Dr. Terlet is well known in the dental community locally, at the state level, and nationally. She is an active member with the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American College of Dentists, and NNOHA, to name a few.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Terlet has served as the Chief Dental Officer at La Clnica since 1989, where she helped expand dental services from one dental clinic to eleven sites in Alameda, Contra Costa and Solano counties. As the Chief Dental Officer, Dr. Terlet is responsible for the strategic vision, direction, oversight and management of dental operations and to ensure the alignment with La Clnicas mission. More specifically, she leads senior dental management staff in strategic positioning and growth; demonstrates and ensures sound financial, budgeting for the Office of the Dental Director; and collaborates with other health agencies to advance the agencys mission.
Dr. Terlet received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of California at Berkeley.

The worst experience. I asked about the charge before the treatment. They told me it's around $80. But it end up with a $370 statement. I called them about this problem. The lady said their estimation can be different from the real charge. A $300 difference! She told me it's all my responsibilities for this payment and hung up my phone. During the treatment, the lady doing the filling wiped the tip of a tool using her clothes then put it into my mouth directly!! But I can do nothing with my mouth open at that moment. The four bite X-ray, the right side, only half of the tooth no7 is seen. This set of X-ray cannot be used for my further wisdom teeth extraction. I need to take another set and pay for it. It's totally wasting my money.

This place is not worth your money. For only a cleaning and x-rays my total was $373. You can definitely find a much better place for half of the cost. 1/10 do not recommend.

I highly recommend Dr Aziz. She always listens to my current situation, assessing the condition of dental hygiene routine, giving me helpful suggestions on how I can improve. I am grateful for her conscientious approach. She's totally adaptable in caring for my granddaughter 's teeth (6 years old) as well. Five stars for Dr Aziz

I went for my first visit to Dr. Terlet-- I am new to Berkeley and she was recommended by a friend. She's the best dentist I've ever had (I'm 75 years old). It was the first time anyone went over X-rays of my teeth and explained what we were seeing and the significance of the various structures and forms. What an eye-opening education! In addition, Dr. Terlet was very thorough, professional, and warm and human at the same time. My experience with dentists in the past has been quite mixed but I can recommend Dr. Terlet without reservation. Natalie

All three are wonderful! I never have a bad experience here and I've been going for 10 year. Dr Aziz is my primary but I love them all. Support staff are also the greatest. Going to the dentist is rough but they make the experience as gentle as possible.

Been going for 20+ years and I think this practice just the best. They have Saturday hours and that is very helpful. Always on top of your dental health and how it ties to overall wellness. They work hard to give you the best dental experience. Highly recommend.

Both Dr. Terlet and Dr. Aziz have taken care of my dental needs most effectively. I have chosen Dr. Aziz as my primary dentist. They are both very experienced and professional, they are also kind, warm, and sensitive to my particular needs. Plus I have found Dr. Aziz to be meticulous in her work and very skilled in working on my teeth without causing me any discomfort. I have had both teeth cleaning, fillings and installation of implants done very well and painlessly. Brava! I highly recommend them.
