As a general dentist, I enjoy helping people feel and look their best. I empathize with people to overcome their fears and make visits to the dentist a more relaxing and gratifying experience. I believe my years of experience and diverse dental skills helps me give my patients individual attention, use up-to-the-minute technology, and perform many different dental procedures to help them pursue and maintain aesthetic and healthy smiles.
I participate in numerous organizations in my field, such as Seattle Study Club and a diplomatic training course in Dental Sleep Medicine at Tufts University, to continue my education and be informed on the newest technology available. I also completed a course on a comprehensive multidisciplinary team approach to restorative therapy for integrated dental implants.
I grew up here in Providence where I graduated from Moses Brown in 1990. I currently live in Sharon, MA with my husband, my two children and our dog Gracie. In my free time, I enjoy spending time on the fields watching my kids play lacrosse. I love skiing in the winter with my family and enjoy spending time at the gym keeping active and leading a healthy lifestyle.

I cleaned my teeth there for the first time recently. It was much better than any of my previous teeth cleaning experience. They gave me very helpful suggestion, and were really patient to explain everything to me. People there are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place.

I have been a client at Dr Rubinstein for the last 30 plus years and have always had impeccable service both professional and kind. I recently had a cavity on a front tooth that had previously been filled and the options were several but with Dr Mahra recommendation I decided to go with six upper caps on the front teeth. I am so happy with the results and enhanced my smile and enhance my confidence. I trust her completely and I would highly recommend them for regular Dentistry as well as cosmetic dentistry.

Just had 2 lower back teeth removed, 1 on each side by Dr Mahra Rubinstein, so easy and with such care, diligence and compassion totally pain free! Looking forward to my next visit!

Honestly hate going to the dentist just because it's more mental torture on my part. However I don't mind going here. Been going there for a couple years now and everyone there are wonderful. Very comfortable atmosphere and very friendly. Highly recommend.

The staff was friendly & attentive. My hygienist was very sweet & knowledgeable and she did a great job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Persky was also very kind & helpful.

Flawless work! Incredible attention to detail regardless of how minor the cosmetic dental needs may be! I had some bonding done on my two front teeth to obtain a perfectly symmetrical smile. Just a phenomenal job! I can't stop looking at my teeth! Also, everyone at the office is super friendly and professional! I just had a ball with them all! Speedy service, impeccable results, in a wonderfully personable atmosphere! You really can't get any better. They are truly the BEST in Rhode Island. Thank you so much! I will be back!

My 16 year old daughter needed bonding on one of her front teeth. After having it done 3x at another office because of it breaking or the color being so off we were given Dr. Mahra Rubinstein's name. Her office got us in right away , Dr Mahra made my daughter feel at ease immediately but most importantly we are so pleased with her work!!! The color and shape is beautiful and my daughter can not stop smiling! To have a 16 year old happy with her appearance speaks volumes. I can not recommend this office enough. Quality work done with compassion and professionalism!

Doctor Mahra Rubinstein is super smart, skilled and nice. As a matter of fact, the support staff also is caring and excellent. This is a busy practice but on the small side and pleasant and attentive - it is NOT a huge bureaucracy. You'll like it.
