Dr. Papworth received his Bachelor degree in Biology from Loyola University of Chicago. He received his Doctor of Dental surgery from the University pf Illinois College of Dentistry located in 1984. Dr. Papworth has taken advanced training in functional Jaw Orthopedics and Dental Restoration. Out of the office Dr. Papworth loves taking his skills to the kitchen to try out a new dish.

Dr. Vargas has been in private practice since 1985. He has taken advanced training in Dental Implant Restoration, Endodontic and Cosmetic procedures. He is truly passionate about the art and science behind dentistry and the patient's ultimate satisfaction. Out of the office Dr. Vargas balances his time free time between his family and the gym.

Excellent service from everyone on the team. Pleasant, friendly, competent, and efficient. Dr. Vargas is all these things and more. I cannot say enough good about the quality of care they always offer.

I've been going to Dr. Vargas for so many years....20+.... and even though I moved out of state, I still get back every 6 months to have him and Marta (his excellent hygienist) take care of my teeth. He is conservative, yet thorough and will NOT recommend any unnecessary treatment. I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Papworth is the first dentist I have seen that I can truly say cares more about the health of my teeth than anything else. The practice is clean and organized, the staff is very friendly and incredibly competent, the hygienists are experts, and Dr. Papworth is a nice man who knows what he is doing. If you are looking for a family dentist that you can rely on, look no further.

Marta / Lori and Dr Vargas are the best. They know that my mouth needs to take extra numbing medicine when doing any work like fillings or fixing chipped teeth. My family has been seeing them for something like 15 years and going. We wouldn't be there if we didn't like and trust what they do. Keep it up !!

Marta and Dr Vargas are AWESOME! It's obvious they take a lot of pride in their work. Dr. Vargas is an artist with the novocaine - the last time I had a filling, my face was a level of numb that I didn't know was even possible. That being said, you probably won't have many cavities - Marta is super thorough and she's great at motivating you to do a better job of brushing and flossing.....it's something in her personality - you cant help but try and make her proud of you. :)

I value the patience and bedside manors of Dr. Vargis! He is extremely kind and thoughtful. Dr.Vargis never makes me feel embarrassed for the (many) cavities That I have. I Used to be so anxious when I would go to other dentists because I was worried they would be judgmental, but since going to Dr. Vargis- for about five years now, I enjoy going to the dentist. His office staff is also extremely sweet and caring, I highly recommend this practice!

I have been going to Dr Vargas for nearly 40 years. I have also brought my wife, kids and they have brought their spouses and their kids. Dr Vargas and Dr. Papworth are fantastic.
