'Bob' was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but grew up an hour from Richmond in Yorktown, Va. Attended VCU for undergraduate studies and graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 2005.Dr. Quilez has been a partner at Drs. Oley and Quilez DDS PLC since 2005. Dentistry has become his passion.
An active member of theAmerican Dental Association, Virginia DentalAssociation, Give kids aSmile programs, and frequently visits local schools and church groups to educate children on the importance of dental hygiene. Dentistry has been part of his life even before becoming a dentist. While in college he trained to become a Certified Dental Assistant and was the first dental student to practice Dental Hygiene in Virginia under the supervision of MCV, but in private practice.
For fun he enjoys playing with his wife and daugter, dogs, exercising, outdoors,reading, college sports (go Rams!),professional sports (Go Eagles!),andalmost any DIYproject.Dr. Quilez's wife, Irene Quilez, is a RegisteredDental Hygienistand MCV graduateas well!
