Dr. Eleanor Olsen is a graduate of Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry from Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Olsen serves as the Dental Director of Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY since 1985. She is a member of the American Dental Association, NYS Dental Association and the Second District Dental Society. Dr. Olsen earned her fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2007.
Dr. Ron Napolitano is a lifelong resident of Staten Island. He is a graduate of Monsignor Farrell High School, as well as Fordham University, where he majored in biology. Dr. Napolitano received his DDS degree at NYU and has attended many implant and cosmetic courses post graduate. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, ADA, NYSDA, and Second District Dental Society.
Dr. Cunsolo was born and raised on the South Shore of Staten Island. She attended St. Joseph Hill Academy for high school, and received her bachelor degree at New York University. She attended courses for a Masters in Biology at the College of Staten Island, and continued on to New York University College of Dentistry where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She completed a general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital, where she stayed an additional year as Chief Resident.
Dr. Jennifer Pumarejo grew up on Staten Island and attended Staten Island Technical High School. She graduated Binghamton University with a bachelors of science in psycho-biology and furthered her education at the University of Pittsburgh, where she received her Doctor of Medical Dentistry. She completed her General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital and is currently a Dental Attending at Coney Island Hospital. Dr. Pumarejo is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, ADA, NYSDA, and Second District Dental Society.
Dr. Ola Tantawy grew up on Staten Island and attended Port Richmond High School She received her Bachelors of Science Degree from College of Staten Island. Dr. Ola graduated New York University College of Dentistry and completed her general practice residency at Staten Island University Hospital. She stayed on a second year at the hospital as Chief Dental Resident.

I was recommended to come here after my insurance changed and couldn't see my old dentist. I went in for a cleaning and was told I have 9 cavities, yes NINE CAVITIES. Their assistant and doctor but told me the same, which I knew wouldn't be true. The fillings weren't going to be covered by the insurance and that I'd have to pay $2,700 out of pocket. This was absurd because I take very good care of my teeth. So with the print out that they gave me I went back to my old dentist (which I had to pay out of pocket for) and after getting x-rays and getting checked I was told that I didn't even have one single cavity. These people were obviously trying to rip me out of my money. Let alone that they were going to drill holes in my teeth that weren't even needed!! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!

I'm leaving this review for Dr. Cangialosi. I've worked as a professional conduct investigator for years with the NYS Education Department Office of Professional Discipline investigating all licensed professionals including dentists for malpractice. The public come to us for recommendations for dentists a lot; our opinions hold a lot of weight. I've investigated so many dentists I grew a severe phobia of anything dental. I haven't been to a dentist in 10 years due to this. Until one day I had to get a root canal... Went nuts going to a top rated Manhattan endodontist and prosthodontist. They were great but the experience was traumatic. Never wanting another root canal, I decided to finally look for my general dentist to fill the ten cavities I heard I had. Went to my childhood dentist who tried to sell me on veneers, crowns, bleaching and more root canals... Nope, next. Tried another dentist, nice guy and all but hurt me with the drill because he wouldn't take my word for it when I said Novocaine wears off real fast for me and he left me in the chair too long between shots and drilling, nope next. I found Dr. C.... And that was it for me. She is kind, gentle, compassionate.... HUGE deal for dental phobic people. She answers questions and answers them HONESTLY.... HUGE deal for a former malpractice investigator. Does not try to sell anything to me. All people hate that. I had a chip in my front tooth for ten years and all I wanted was it bonded. Dentists tried to sell me on veneers and crowns and refused to do it! They tried to bully me because bonding is 200$, crowns and veneers are 1k+. Dr. C. was honest in telling me her opinion of veneers or crowns being better... And I get it. They're non staining, shaped perfect etc. Bonding turns brown, cracks etc But based on my experience, I genuinely will never opt for anything prosthetic voluntarily. I'm severely uncomfortable with prosthetics, and having one in my mouth already ruined me forever and I now only eat on one side. Many of my cases were of veneers and crowns, definitely don't want them. I respected her opinion, but she respected me right back and bonded my tooth for me. It looks phenomenal. Shaped great. Matches the tooth. No traumatic experience for me. She listens to patient's wants and needs and that is RARE in a dentist. She does NOT push, sell, bully or instill fear. She discusses the pros and cons, gives you what you ask, and does great work. She filled 6 of my cavities already. She is PAINLESS which is huge. She does great work. She will be filling my remaining 4. And I'm going to ask her for Zoom whitening and to bond my yellow traumatized partially bonded front tooth to match them after. I trust her. And no investigator will EVER say that. She's about helping people, not money not your typical showman dentist.II recommended her to so many already. I saw the bad reviews here about veneers she has done. Take it from me: it's not her, it's veneers. Do your research. They pop off too easily, hence why I don't get them. Don't sacrifice your real teeth for anything fake unless absolutely needed. The head of the dental board is a good friend of mine, I clear everything thru him, he is thrilled that I finally found my dentist after 40 years of searching. Thank you Dr. C.!

There are truly no words to describe Dr. Napolitano and Staff. I suffer from anxiety and usually petrified of the dentist. Dr. Napolitano and his staff are AMAZING!! I highly recommend them. Thank you so very much for making me feel so comfortable and giving me the security of smiling and now I can show my teeth !!! I still can't believe I felt nothing !!! My teeth look beautiful thanks to You !!!

My family and I see Dr. Napolitano and we could not be happier! Dr. Napolitano is an excellent dentist and every staff member in the office is extremely polite and professional! Going to the dentist was never a pleasurable experience for me but ever since I started going here I am so much more at ease and I can not thank the staff enough for that! I highly recommend this dental office!

I could not be happier with my patient experience! I broke my tooth on a Saturday morning and within an hour LUCILLE CANGIALOSI, DDS had me prepped for a crown. The safety precautions are to the max and I work in a hospital! Friendly, professional, courteous and just the best all around! I've only been a patient a few months but they make you feel like they've known you since baby teeth. Everything you could expect and more! Five stars is not enough!!!

This is the kind of office you take your children too. Scheduled an appointment for my 4 year old with Dr. Ola and I was very impressed how she handled my child, she was very patient and gentle and did a fantastic job with her cleaning. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back!

My daughter Marie and her son Blaze had nothing but praise for this office and its amazing staff. Blaze had extensive deterioration after chemo and radiation. Add anxiety and Covid into the mix and it was not a good situation. The Doctors and the incredible staff took care to calm his fears and take care of his teeth in a safe and clean environment. New crowns in place, fillings done- insurance issues handled by Kim, we are ALL smiling at the results. pain is finally gone. This is where you want to be.... an office that cares and skills are above the bar. We could not be happier than how he smiles now. Thank you! <3

The office is very nice and clean and staff are friendly. First time I came to this office I brought my son whose 4 and absolutely hates the dentist. We met Dr. Ola and she was amazing. She was EXTREMELY patient with him and was able to examine him w/ great success. He's even asking about his next visit!. I also came in two weeks later and saw her. I had a prior filling that seemed to have fallen out. She was able to clean it out and refill it and I barely felt any discomfort at all. Will be sending my whole family here!

Horrible horrible service. They did not know how to do teeth whitening at all. They did not change the bleach on my teeth at all. They left the same old bleach on my teeth for over an hour. My shade did not change, it stayed the same and when I told them that i was unsatisfied they told me to use their touch up materials and come back. Why would I use touch up materials on what should be done correctly. Getting my money back took forever. I was constantly given the excuse that the manager left and forgot to leave my money or forgot to call me back. Then when I got the money back it was the wrong amount and once again had to wait because the office manager had left and "forgot" to leave the money. Getting in touch with anyone about the issue was also a struggle for the longest time. I would not go back.

Good doctor for service. Their billing department is scamming patients. They wanted me to cover difference between what they charged and what my insurance paid them. I made a complaint to my company against this provider. Maybe insurance will drop them out for their plan for consistently breaching agreement. Please be aware of this and don't be a prey when you visit next time. They signed agreement with insurance company not to charge anything over copay.

They are excessively overpriced. I went there for root canal on four teeth & was charged $1.500 for each visit. After the second visit I was advised my teeth were loosening & that I should go for implants & that it would run me around $40k. Needless to say I did not return.

I started going to this dentist office because my friend's daughter works there. Since the moment I began, I only have positive feedback about the employees. I never have to wait to be seen, the dentist and hygienists are super nice, thorough and professional. During the pandemic, the office has safety measures in place that are followed, which include calling once you arrive and not waiting in a "waiting room". I feel extremely safe continuing my regular check-ups during this time. I highly recommend this dental office!

Let me start by saying that I am afraid of the dentist in general. It's not so much the actual dental work as much as it's the numbing part when having work done. I've been to the this office numerous times and the staff is extremely pleasant and professional. They make you feel at ease. Dr. Napolitano is an amazing dentist and his bed side manor is amazing! He takes his time to explain everything! I went a few times with my whole family which is me, my husband and our children and each and every time it went extremely smooth. Your always taken on time and the flow of the office is great! The office is also very clean. My children all felt extremely comfortable with both of the dental hygienists as well as the dentist himself. I would highly recommend this dentist to whole families as they are very kid friendly in the office and each and every person working there is very professional, friendly, compassionate and helpful. A huge shout out to Dr. Napolitano and his awesome staff for a job well done each and every time! Thank you so much for making our visits so smooth!!!!

This dental practice is by far the best one on Staten Island! The office employees are friendly and extremely accomodating! They are always warm welcoming and prompt with appointment times. The hygienists do an exceptional job on cleanings and mouth care. They offer great information on teeth hygiene and are caring towards their patients. The dentists in this practice are amazing! Dr. Napolitano is very dedicated to his patients and truly cares! The office is also very clean! I would highly recommend this dental practice to others!

I had a terrible experience at this office and will not be returning. They sliced my tongue open by accident and put the blame on me and wanted to cover it up like I wouldn't know. They forgot a tube in my mouth and I almost choked on it. The one thing they are good at doing is taking your money, that is for sure. Very uncaring. I asked for help cause of pain and was given a prescription that will not help my condition. Poor communication as well. Did not even explain to me what they were gonna do to my mouth. I will be looking for a new dentist that knows what they are doing.

This office is amazing. I'm a big baby when it comes to the dentist and the whole staff always puts me at ease and calms my nerves. I was having terrible pain from grinding my teeth and Dr. Napolitano helped me in just a few visits. I 100% recommend him and his office to all my friends and family.

The doctors are relatable and respectful. As a black woman I'm very hesitant on who I let take care of me. I'm so elated that I finally found a dentist that is patient and cares about my oral health. I would recommend this dentist to everyone, specifically Dr.Nasr.
