Dr. Kessler practices a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and all associated bone grafting, general anesthesia, wisdom tooth removal, tumor and cyst treatment, biopsies and jaw fracture treatment using the industrys most advanced equipment.
Dr. Kessler completed a one year General Practice Residency (GPR) at The University of Florida Health Science Center and was then accepted into The University of Florida Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program upon completion of the GPR.

The procedure for wisdom teeth extraction went great but they need to show more empathy towards their patients. If it's my first time doing this please answer all my questions patiently. If I complain about pain it is because I am in pain. After the procedure my teeth became really stained.Now, I discover that this is a side effect of the antibiotic they prescribed. I cry every time I look at myself but the nurse told me " it must have been something you ate".

Dr. Kessler was excellent. I came for a second opinion on a complex case and they were able to get me in the next day. I'm not sure if that's normal but I was very thankful. Dr. Kessler took the time to explain my situation and was very professional. Thank you! I will certainly be recommending this practice for any oral surgery needs to family and friends in Tampa.

Wow wow wow!! For someone who is terrified of the dentist, Dr. Monteleone & Staff made this such an amazing experience for me. First visit was consult with x-rays, booked wisdom took extraction 2 days later, had it this morning, everything went PERFECTLY, and to top it off..... HE CALLED TO CHECK ON ME!! These people deserve an award!! Thank you so much and I look forward to my follow up next week!!

Beyond thankful for Dr. Monteleone and Dr. Kessler! My son needed an emergency extraction and they were accommodating, professional, kind, and did excellent work! They were patient in answering all of our questions. We had a wonderful experience - thank you!

Dr. Monteleone and his team did an amazing job. Not only were they easy to deal with and informative, but Dr. Monteleone even called to follow up the night of the surgery to make sure everything was going smoothly. Thank you everyone !

The staff is Great and Dr. Kessler is also fantastic. Everything is explained and you don't wait around here. All 3 of my appointments saw me within 2-3 minutes of my appointment time and the surgeon within 5-8 minutes of my appointment time. This is unheard of. Surgery was smooth and felt no pain. I even received a phone call from Dr. Kessler post-op in the evening to check on me, again, unheard of. They care about their patients. If I ever have to go back, I will without hesitation. Thank you to the Office of Kessler and Monteleone.

I had my wisdom teeth pulled last Tuesday. The oral surgeon I saw didn't have any availability today, but the pain was excruciating. I was referred by Chris Toepke to Dr. Kessler and it might have been the best referral I've ever received. They got me in within hours and had x-rays done and applied a treatment right away. I live in Carrollwood, but will return to Dr. Kessler because it's worth the drive. Thank you to him and his awesome staff!

I had four wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Kessler, and it was a wonderful experience. Not the pain (obviously), but Dr. Kessler and his staff did a wonderful job communicating the process, what to expect, after care, and follow up. Three of my wisdom teeth were impacted (I'm almost 30), and while my regular dentist was fairly concerned, Dr. Kessler told me upfront all the "challenges" but then was extremely reassuring that "they do this all the time". Truly professional and experienced. I will never have to take out my wisdom teeth again, but if I did, I'd go back.

Was terrified being put under for wisdom extractions but lilly and doc said lay back didn't even think I slept and they looked at me and said "all good " I was in disbelief. Also no pain. Serious professionals!!!

I flew down to Florida to get a second opinion from Dr Kevin Monteleone! I heard so many good things about him. He did not disappoint! Truth be told, his recommendations were by far the best that I received after seeing 2 other doctors in Colorado and a year long search for answers. Thank you Dr Kevin! You truly are the best!

Dr. Kevin Monteleone extracted my sons wisdom teeth, and I can't not be more happy about his services. His father Dr. Louis Monteleone extracted mine years ago, and Dr. Kevin sure has followed his father's footsteps as one of the best oral surgeons in Tampa.
