Dr. Ravett has enjoyed practicing dentistry for over twenty-five years. She has a reputation for being a caring and trusted professional. She loves making her patients feel better about their smiles and dental health. When not practicing dentistry, Stephanie loves to spend time with her family and friends. She is an active person who enjoys hiking, running, tennis, bowling, gardening, reading and playing bridge. Additionally, Stephanie volunteers with several organizations in the community.
In 1978, Barry joined Dr. Morty Melman (his father) and Dr. Jim Kippen in private practice. He spent many years teaching part-time as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Penn Dental. Barry has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry since 1977 and was voted a Philadelphia Magazine 'Top Dentist' in 2012, and again in 2016.

I have worked in the dental field since 1987 - first as a dental assistant, then as a dental hygienist. I enjoy empowering each person so they can experience their best dental health and have fun in the process. The commitment Drs. Melman and Ravett have for each patient is inspiring.
I had the pleasure of beginning my dental career with Drs. Melman & Ravett in 2006. They both truly helped me reach my potential to become the dental assistant that I am today. I love getting to meet new patients - as well as further developing relationships with our current patients. I grew up in Bensalem, PA and currently live in Northeast Philadelphia. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, reading, and shoe shopping.
I began my career in the dental field in 1979 as a dental assistant. I was afforded the opportunity to work for Drs. Melman, Ravett & Associates in 1994. I knew it was a great fit from the beginning with great people and exemplary dentistry. Initially, I worked as a dental assistant at the practice, but I transitioned over to an office position in 2003 where I work as an insurance coordinator and front desk receptionist. Ive been married for over 30 years, and have two sons and a grandson. I have an English Bulldog named Wrinkles, and I am an avid Eagles fan.

The office was friendly and casual with first rate personnel. No waiting time plus very attentive exam by Dr. Ravett and her staff. I'm 71 and learned several new things about my dental care that I had never been told before. Loved my experience there!

My regular dental checkup was efficient, courteous, and professional. My hygienist and Dr. Ravett were caring and informative. COVID 19 precautions were excellent!

Always a great experience with this practice! My mother, husband and very close friend have all gone here for years and we all feel the same. Everyone from the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist is thorough and kind. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

Dr. Ravett is fabulous - friendly, attentive, caring, and above all super intelligent about everything dental! Today for the first time I had a relatively new hygienist, Erica, and she was excellent. Very skilled as a hygienist and also very friendly and pleasant.

Dr. Ravett and her staff are always efficient and thorough - great on follow through. Dr. Ravett excels in her diagnostic abilities and never goes beyond what is required. Additionally, she gives you the time necessary in a consultation, making sure you have full understanding of any procedure. Her dental hygienists are experts at what they do, and seek to treat patients holistically in order to offer the best information for the next phase of your visit with Dr. Ravett.
