Dr. Joseph Zarrella is a Rhode Island native who was born and raised in the city of Johnston. He is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelors Degree in the Science of Biology. He earned his Master of Science Degree in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University in Miami, Florida. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in 2020, where he was invited to participate in an honors periodontics program. Dr. Zarrella is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national Dental Honor Society where members are elected from the top twenty percent of the graduating class based on academic success and significant contributions to the art and science of dentistry.
Following his graduation, Dr. Zarrella participated in a one year advanced education in general dentistry residency program at Idaho State University and St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. It was there that Dr. Zarrella excelled in the fields of implantology, phlebotomy, oral surgery, cosmetics and full mouth rehabilitation and reconstruction.
Dr. Zarrellas outgoing personable demeanor is what sets him apart. He has a passion for sculpture, woodworking, hiking and scuba diving. He also enjoys wildlife and underwater photography and has been awarded Editors Choice in two National Geographic photography contests. He recently went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic where he provided dental care to people in need. Dr. Zarrellas artistic training and desire for helping others creates a unique foundation for providing you and your family exceptional dental care.

I am in the process of having a total mouth reconstruction! I am so very very happy that my friend Cathy referred me to this practice. Dr. Comforti is absolutely amazing. You can't even imagine the details and effort put into a process like this! I'm am so very lucky I am getting the Best care....and he always makes me laugh! Plus, I have to mention his team of very seasoned/ skilled assistants including Des and Maddie who never cease to amaze me with their unparalleled skills. Additional thanks to his office team who Always make me feel so special. All I can say is WOW!

The office of Drs. Light and Conforti are the best in the business. The office staff is friendly and very comforting. Dr. Conforti superb! His work is perfection. Special shout-out to Isabel and Maddy :)

Dr. Light was recommended to me by a friend a long time ago. I had been going to a dentist on the Cape that had retired and I was nervous to pick a new dentist as I was so loyal to my previous one. I need not have worried though. The experience by Dr. Light and team (Sonia is my stellar dental hygienist) is second to none. Dr. Light has a way of not making needles hurt and making you feel relaxed and calm. As I have seen him over the years I have noticed the technology constantly improving. This office employs the latest in dental care and things just keep getting better. Sonia is a lovely person and very caring. I can't recommend Dr. Light and his staff highly enough. Extremely professional in every single regard. I am so glad I found them!

I was referred to go see Dr. Conforti for x-rays to get a better look at a troubled wisdom tooth and I ended up having it extracted that same day by Dr. Conforti. I can confidently and honestly say that this was the best experience with a tooth extraction I have ever had. Dr. Conforti checked multiple times to make sure I was comfortable and reassured me by answering every question I had. His staff was beyond warm and welcoming and my overall experience was perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

I have been going to this dentist office since I was sixteen years old. I really like my hygienist! She is very through. Dr conforti is so kind and really cares about his patients. And is very concerned about your comfort. The office is so clean and meticulous.

The office staff at Dr. Light & Conforti are all so welcoming and pleasant. The front desk staff & all the Hygienist make going to the dentist enjoyable. I would highly recommend this dental practice. I left another office that I was a patient of for years and could not be more happier with my decision.

My first visit was tremendous. Everyone was very professional and courteous. My cleaning was the best that I have had in over a year. The dental hygenist named Karen is outstanding. The exam and information from the dentist was super. I highly recommend this office.

Our family has been coming here for years. Drs. Gary and Jason set the bar high with their skill and knowledge. More tho, they are always positive and encouraging (even while reminding you to floss more often). Dr Conforti is one of the best, a brilliant dentist and a great guy. I was comfortable and relaxed the whole time. His hygienist was great, she talked to me while I waited to get numb like I was an old friend. While in the chair I felt nothing and he made a difficult procedure seem like a breeze. I strongly recommend anyone to try his office, they make you feel like family. By far best dentist office I've been to. Thanks again Dr Conforti !!!!
