Dr. Robert D. Isaacs has been practicing orthodontics since 1986. Dr. Isaacs is a proud native of Baltimore County. He started his education at Pleasant Plains Elementary School in Towson at its grand opening! Dr. Isaacs is a graduate of Gilman School, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland Dental School, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He remained at Maryland Dental School to complete his certificate training in orthodontics. Upon graduation, Dr. Isaacs was awarded The Daniel Sheehan Award of Achievement of Academic and Clinical Excellence in the Field of Orthodontics. Dr. Isaacs is also a member of both OKU and Phi Kappa Phi national honor societies, as well as the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.

Working as a carpenter throughout college and for five years after, it was a life-changing accident that ultimately redirected Dr. Isaacs ' love of construction to change its scale of building: from framing houses to framing faces with individual, beautiful, hand-crafted smiles. While there are similarities in the laws of physics between any construction career, it is the added benefit of helping people children and adults that Dr. Isaacs enjoys. His passion for his practice of orthodontics has taken him to be recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and awarded Baltimore 's Best Orthodontist for many years. Both of his children, daughters Jessie and Annie, have also recognized the joy their father experiences in his practice of orthodontics to the extent that Jessie is currently attending dental school, and Annie is in the process of admission to dental school. Mrs. Isaacs, Betsy, is a 30-year veteran teacher at Oldfields School, where she teaches high school math. The entire family is constantly busy supporting Betsy and Pet Rescue of Maryland that she cofounded many years ago. This group specializes in abandoned animals, re-socializing them in foster homes especially the Isaacs ' home and eventually finding their 'forever' home. The Isaacs ' are finding it more and more challenging to name these fosters as the number of placed dogs alone approaches 500.

Dr. Scott Nawy was born in Queens, New York and was raised in Marlboro, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from SUNY Binghamton and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University's School of Dental and Oral Surgery. There he received an award for clinical excellence. He remained at Columbia and completed a three-year dual program obtaining his Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master of Arts for his research on the effects of estrogen on root resorption. Dr. Nawy relocated to Baltimore in 1997 to join the orthodontic practice of Drs. Solomon and Isaacs.

Dr. Nawy is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is on staff at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and is a member of the Deans Faculty at the University of Maryland Dental School. He maintains an active membership in the American Association of Orthodontists, the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the American Equilibration Society and Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society. He has presented at both the International Association of Dental Research as well as the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

Dr. Nawy has continuously been recognized by his peers as one of Baltimore's top orthodontists and achieved the status of top-rated twice. He is actively involved with multiple local and national study clubs and has studied at both the Dawson Academy and the Spear Institute, both internationally recognized institutions of advanced dental education. A believer in lifelong learning, Dr. Nawy attends over 100 hours of continuing education annually to stay current on the latest advances in orthodontics. He is a Premiere Provider of Invisalign, a distinction given to only 5% of practices worldwide.

'One of the most gratifying changes in the practice over the past 20 years has been the number of referrals we get from existing patients. The practice has always been blessed with the confidence shown by many area dentists to treat not only their patients, but their families as well. Those recommendations reinforce that we give excellent care. However, when existing patients send us their friends and neighbors, it tells us that they also enjoyed and valued the experience.'

Dr. Moshe Stern was born and raised in New York and moved to Maryland in 2000 to attend Ner Israel Rabbinical College, where he received his Master's Degree in Talmudic Law in 2006. While attending rabbinical college, he participated in a dual curriculum program with Towson University, where he took his prerequisite classes to prepare for dental school. He was then accepted to the University of Maryland Dental School where he graduated at the top of his class, Magna Cum Laude. Upon graduation, Dr. Stern was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) national dental honor society. He was chosen for this honor by his faculty based on his exemplary character and academic achievements. Dr. Stern continued at the University of Maryland to complete his orthodontic training where he served as chief resident for the program. During his residency, he completed original research in orthodontic adhesives, earning him a Master's in Biomedical Sciences. Upon graduation, he was invited to join the Deans faculty at the university, where he has taught the residents and orthodontic clerks.

Dr. Stern has served on the John Hopkins cleft palate team and has lectured both at the university and at local study clubs. Always trying to provide his patients with the best treatment options available, Dr. Stern has traveled across the country to receive additional training in the most contemporary orthodontic techniques. He is a certified provider of Wilkodontics Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics, Invisalign, and is trained in the Six Elements of Orofacial Harmony, with additional training in its application to orthognathic surgical planning. The 'Six Elements of Orofacial Harmony', pioneered by Dr. Larry Andrews, emphasizes a comprehensive view of the face, teeth, jaws and joints, to achieve optimal health, function and facial esthetics. Dr. Stern currently serves as president of the Maimonides Dental Study Club located in Pikesville, Maryland.

Dr. Stern believes in giving back to the community and has participated in a wide range of community service, ranging from the Special Olympics to Quest for Care (dental fund for the indigent). He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Mid Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, Maryland State Society of Orthodontists, as well as the American Dental Association.

Dr. Stern is known not only for his skill as an orthodontist, but for his charismatic personality, his warmth and his concern for all. He is well-liked by his patients, staff and peers. At heart, he is very much a family man and enjoys spending his time off with his wife, Barbara, and their six wonderful children.

Dr. Jessie Isaacs is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School. Following graduation, she completed a yearlong fellowship in general dentistry and oral medicine at the Perry Point, VA Hospital. In June she obtained her certificate in Orthodontics from NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she was chief resident. She was also elected as the American Association of Orthodontists resident champion for her program.

Dr. Jessie lives in Baltimore with her two rescue dogs, Annabelle and Cooper. In her spare time she enjoys being with her friends and family, trying new restaurants and attending pure barre and yoga. Her love of nature brings her outdoors often, whether its running alongside the Harbor or enjoying water activities. She is proud to have participated in the 2018 NYC Marathon!

As Dr. Isaacs oldest daughter, she is looking forward to providing excellent care, compassion and her expertise to our valued patients. Dr. Jessie will be treating patients in our Bel Air and Perry Hall locations.

I have been a part of Drs. Isaacs, Nawy and Sterns orthodontic team for the last five years. I love seeing our patients confidence blossom as they go through treatment. When I am not at work or school, I enjoy painting, being outside and spending time with my family.

I started at Drs. Isaacs, Nawy, & Stern's orthodontic practice in October of 2009. I enjoy the interaction with the families of our patients and have been known to remember everyone by their first name. I am proud to work for a business that supports all law enforcement as my husband is a Harford County Sheriff Deputy and this matter is very dear to my heart. I have 3 boys and am very involved in their sports programs and giving my time to help law enforcement and women who are recovering from cancer treatment. In my spare time I enjoy discussing politics and current events.

I've been in the orthodontic field for 22 years in addition to having a study model business and currently learning another trade. My only child is 23 years old and I was a surrogate twice! In my spare time, I enjoy making purses, scrapbooking, boating and gardening. My husband and I love to travel and use love to travel and use our boat to visit many places in Maryland!

The Bel Air office was the practice's newest location when I was hired as Office Manager in 2003. I am so proud to be part of our orthodontic family that has grown in leaps and bounds. I love coming to work and meeting the parents of our newest patients, watching them grow and change through their years of treatment. I live in Forest Hill with my husband of 47 years and have an adult daughter who lives in Oregon.

I am the newest member of the staff at the Bel Air location. I am getting lots of experience as I am looking for a future in dental hygiene. I am also a part-time student at CCBC working toward this goal. Going to the beach and spending time with family are the things I do in my spare time.

I am an Orthodontic Assistant and have been with Drs. Isaacs, Nawy and Stern since 2010. I enjoy interacting with patients and watching their smiles transform. I live in Bel Air and enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.

I enjoy creating a personal relationship with our patients while I assist the doctors with procedures, pour and trim models, and keep the treatment rooms sanitized and prepared using the skills I learned at DATS of Maryland. I love the positive atmosphere of the office and all of my positive co-workers. That is probably why I am usually beaming with a smile!

Being a new team member for Drs. Isaacs, Nawy & Stern is very exciting for me. Its the start to pursuing my future and I couldnt be happier to work with doctors and staff that enjoy their job as much as I do! When I have spare time, depending on the season, I enjoy hiking, snowboarding, outdoor sports and spending time with my friends. Cant wait to meet you and have an excellent orthodontic experience.

I'm proud to be part of such a great team! My favorite part of working with patients is seeing your smile get better at every visit. I am fortunate to being doing what I love with a team dedicated to making an individualized plan for each patient. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Before discovering Dr. Stern and his phenomenal staff- Ruth, Morgan, Erica & Katie to name a few I didn't like my smile. I had a slant and a huge issue with my jaw from my TMJ. The popping you could audibly hear when I opened my mouth just to give you a visual. We'll just say I liked to grind my teeth something kinda fierce. My dentist told me I needed to do something or I would be looking at some intense arthritis in my jaw. Dr. Stern was a God send. He kept things straightforward throughout my treatment. His staff has always been kind and welcoming. His orthodontic assistants have even embraced their creative side with rubberband styles to make things interesting. I was a willing guinea pig on some pretty dope designs for colors. Now after getting my braces off I'm smiling all the time. I feel more confident. My smile lean is gone. The pain I had in my jaw is gone. My jaw is realigned. If you're in treatment trust the process. Wear those rubberbands. I dropped some personal before and after pictures below. Will always recommend.

OK I am over the moon!!! I just had my appointment to get my braces off and I can not thank the doctors and the staff enough!! I started this process almost two years ago and today was finally the day! My teeth and smile look so amazing. This was such an easy process from start to finish, I just wish I didn't wait until my late 30s to get started fixing my teeth. This was by far one of the best investments I ever made for myself. If anyone is looking for an orthodontist in the Baltimore area you will not be disappointed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This is the best ortho clinic in Baltimore. Friendly staff, clean offices, and strict COVID safety procedures. Dr. Stern took time to explain my treatment plan and what happens. There was full transparency with everything that was going to happen. The staff is amazing, super friendly, and professional. They really made me feel comfortable! I never had any problems with scheduling and would recommend this clinic to everyone!

Dr. Stern is so kind and knowledgeable. I saw him for a second opinion after my dentist told me I needed thousands of dollars worth of work. This group of orthodontists and assistants were able to fix my problem in two visits, and save me a lot of money! Couldn't recommend more.

I was told by several other orthodontic offices that the only way to correct my edge to edge bite was through jaw surgery. I was super close to going through with it until I was referred by a friend to this office. They promised me 18-24 months in braces and my bite would be corrected- they did it in 7.5 months! I am so happy with the results. Dr. Stern and all of his employees know exactly what they are doing. Thank you so much for giving me my confidence back!

Scheduling in this office not working well and very frustrating. No fallow up what so ever. No phone calls no reminding text or emails. It is busy and they are not taking any responsibility when to see the patients. You may wait years with the braces on. When they got the money up front they ignore the rest.
