Theresa was raised in the Cleveland suburb of Seven Hills where she graduated from Nazareth Academy. She attended St Louis University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. She is a 1988 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Theresa presently sits on the board of directors at the Renaissance Theater and also at Mansfield Memorial Homes. She was on the board of the Third Street Family Health Clinic for 12 years.
Theresa was on staff at Childrens Hospital in Columbus for 3 years working in the childrens dental clinic. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Ohio Dental Association. Tom and Theresa have been the dental providers for Richland County Childrens Services clients since 1995.
Tom was raised in Mansfield where he graduated from St Peters High School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bowling Green State University in 1982. He graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1987 and completed an Advanced General Dentistry residency at Ohio State in 1988.

Dr. Tom pulled my tooth yesterday. I had very little pain and hardly any bleeding. I didn't even have that "swollen lip" feeling, nor did I drool. Lol The staff is so friendly and the facility is very clean. This was the best experience I've EVER had at the dentist!!! Thank you ALL so much.

We have been coming to Heringhaus Dental for years! My kids and I absolutely love them there! I cannot say enough good things. From the hygienists, to the no cavity club, to the dentists. We love them and their kindness, smiling faces and welcoming atmosphere! Not to mention they do a wonderful job on your teeth :)

I have been coming here for years. Usually they don't have openings right away but if ur in pain or have an emergency the docs will squeeze you in. I've never had a bad experience they are always super nice and super informative.

Ups and downs here, but they are well intentioned professionals in a clean and safe environment. Have had mixed experiences, but the one time I absolutely needed something done they were my saving grace and for that I am so very thankful. They are nice and they will work out dental issues with you and work with many insurance. I especially appreciate that Dr. Tom is overall compassionate and focused but most of all very quick at performing services even fillings!

I had initially been been seen and scheduled my next appointment about a month out. The doctors note I had received from them was not accepted by my employer. When I was informed of this by my employer, I called the dentist office and explained the situation. The receptionist seemed willing to help me out and said she would speak to the doctor and send me a note that my employer would accept. I never received such note. I called again and spoke to a very rude woman who just told me over and over that they only have one kind of work note. She was eventually willing to help me, and stated the same thing as in my first call. I again did not receive such work note. On the day before my next appointment I contacted the dentist office and told them that I was not able to get the day off work, and would have to call off work in order to make my appointment. I explained to her my previous situation with them, and asked if they would be able to give me the correct note for my upcoming appointment. The receptionist stated that they only have one kind of work note. And I again explained that what I had been told prior, that the doctor could write a correct work note. At this time the receptionist became very rude, and audibly agitated. She then stated, "sir we DO NOT go out of our way to help people out." I then told her to cancel my appointment, and that I would be finding a new dentist. I would not recommend going to this dentist office for any kind of work. The receptionists can either willing to help, or incredibly rude, and the doctors have an air of judgment about them.
