Dr. Guittard is originally from the San Francisco Bay area, but he has a long history in San Luis Obispo County. He graduated from Cal Poly in 1978 and received his dental training at the University of California in San Francisco.
Dr. Sierra was born in San Francisco, raised in Los Angeles, and met his wife, a Central Coast native, during his undergraduate education at UCSB. Dr. Sierra received his dental training at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, did his residency at the Veterans Administration in Memphis, TN, and worked in private practice in Nashville before moving back to the Central Coast. Dr. Sierra was welcomed to the practice in February of 2018.

I do recommend dentist Dr. Sierra for his honesty in explaining our teeth, issues, resolutions. Staff is friendly. I gave a 4 star because the office could use updating. Other than that, we are happy!

Super convenient and super services. Staff was super friendly and willing to answer my millions of questions. Their website is helpful and easy to navigate. Dr. Sierra was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He even said to "raise my hand" if I was feeling any sort of discomfort or pain. Which I found to be considerate because most dentists don't tell you this. His assistant was experienced and proficient and also helped answer any of my questions. At the end of the visit they showed me videos on specific questions I had and lastly the wonderful front desk scheduled me for my next appointment! Looking forward to it.

Dr. Cristian Sierra is a terrible dentist. He told my daughter she had 6 cavities. She lives in California and is married. She has a different last name than mine. She went for a second and third opinion and they both said she absolutely did NOT have any cavities. The x-rays did not show any cavities either. He is very money hungry. Do not go see him. The office staff were very unprofessional. He then made a comment that since I live in Texas that she never went to his office, which made me laugh.

Dr. Sierra has provided my wife and I with consistently excellent dental care. His attention to detail and communication skills have made all dental procedures result in a favorable conclusion. The entire staff displays a great degree of professionalism and courtesy as well.

About a month ago, I talked with Dr. Guittard by phone and was quite favorably impressed by his genuine interest in what we discussed relating to my becoming a new patient, my insurance, and my comment about the office's website. I decided to make an appointment for a full exam, including x-rays and cleaning. Dr. Sierra was excellent, working with hygienist Maria. I am happy to say that this office is where I've decided to go to regularly. My wife now also plans to switch to this office from our previous dentist in SLO.

Not such a good day. The staff seemed rushed and uncaring. I felt pressured to schedule treatments I know I can't pay for. No one asked about my pain or wellbeing in general aside from the recent covid screening. Staff didn't address me directly. Procedures were not explained at all. It seemed they just assumed I understood what was happening. I've never had water squirted all over my face, until today. No one even bothered to check to see how I was doing. I have brain fog and anxiety. I have explained this to the doctor. He did not try and reassure me at all. So disappointed. Not sure if I can make myself go back.

Dr Sierra is very knowledgeable, and he works hard to keep my teeth intact. I'm 78 years old ,with teeth that have always been horrible. He has steered me through implants ,crowns and extractions, with much advise on how I should proceed. So far so good!. I have no insurance and he helps me to find the best solutions for the best price. He makes me feel comfortable, and it is fun to talk about topics with him other than my teeth, The whole office is great! I can always depend on them and recommend them!
