Dr. James Jimmy Gordon grew up in Newport News, Virginia but is a long-time resident of Baltimore county. He attended the University of South Carolina before attending dental school at the Medical College of Virginia. When it became time to choose a residency program his wife, being from Maryland, brought him to Baltimore where they developed roots. He completed a general dentistry residency at Baltimore City Hospitals before further specializing at the University of Maryland, where he received his certificate of orthodontics. When he is not making people smile either by straightening teeth or telling jokes you can find him outdoors. He enjoys spending time with his family, his wife of 46 years, Darcy, their two children and three grandchildren. While it is true that he enjoys almost anything in the sunshine his favorite activities include golf, horseback riding, walking the dogs and taking care of his farm which includes an adorable rescue donkey.
Dr. Edward Eddie Silverman was Born and raised in the Baltimore area graduating from Pikesville High School before attending the University of Maryland at College Park. He continued on to dental school at the University of Maryland. Deciding to specialize he furthered his training at Albert Einstein Center in Philadelphia completing a general practice residency where he discovered his passion of straightening teeth leading to him completing an additional residency in postgraduate orthodontic training. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jodie, and their son, Casey. Some of their favorite outdoor activities are fishing and boating. As a huge sports fan, you can catch Dr. Silverman cheering on the Orioles, Ravens and Maryland Terps. If you cant find him cheering on his favorite teams or enjoying water sports he can often be found working on DIY projects around his home.
All our doctors are avid believers in treating each patient individually as each smile is different. Through continuing education courses they stay up to date on todays most current treatment techniques while maintaining a solid foundation in what has been long proven to be effective in the field of orthodontics.

I would give zero stars if I could. Soon as I mentioned medicaid the lady on the phone got rude. I guess she's better.

After raising my kids I decided to straightened my teeth & smile. My teeth were crooked my entire life. Dr. Gordon and his staff are very friendly and comforting. The level of professional services I received was outstanding. My braces were removed 60 days ago and my teeth look fantastic. Now is the first time I've been able to flosse my own teeth. I've recommended Dr Gordon & Silverman's practice to my family and friends.

4 out of 5 members of my family have had orthodontic treatment with Drs Gordon and Silverman. They are knowledgeable and treat each case individually. My oldest daughter had treatment at another orthodontist. They were good, but also more expensive. For my second daughter we shopped around and we felt at home with Dr Gordon and Silverman. Their prices are fair and her treatment was explained at the consultation appointment. The price was lower than the original estimate which was a pleasant surprise My youngest daughter started with a palatal expander to correct a crossbite. She then went into full braces and finshed with invisalign type retainers. I also got braces to fix minor crowding because I lost my retainers in my 20's. The assistants are gentle and catered to my needs. They were able to answer all of my questions. I am a faithful retainer wearer now. My husband never received orthodontic treatment as a child and had very crowded teeth. This caused dental problems and our general dentist recommended he get his teeth straightened. He was in braces for 18 months and then was able to get crowns on some of his teeth. His general dentist Dr Mendelson, and Drs Gordon and Silverman worked in conjunction to get Tom's teeth the best care possible. The front desk receptionist, Vicky is highly knowledgeable with different insurance plans and did try her best to find appointment times to fit my schedule. I highly recommend this office.

I would just like to say that my daughter was a patient of Dr.Gordon and Dr.Silverman for 4 years.There fees are a lot lower then any other orthodontic office within the owings mills area.They were very honest and very thorough with explaining treatment throughout my daughters time in braces.I highly recommend this office

Fantastic experience . pleasant and competent staff. Clean doesn't begin to describe this office. Immaculate, personable and professional. Amazing work done to my mouth, an all around experience that I would highly reccomend.

I'm an adult with adult children and finally decided to get my teeth worked on. The Doctor's are caring, kind and very professional. The dental assistants are experienced, extremely helpful and patient. The receptionist is very capable, friendly and is on top of her job with taking payments, appointments and providing accurate information. I'm not sure what issue the previous reviewer had, but my experience has been excellent. This a very friendly and professional office.

Horrible place would not recommend to no one , the receptionist is a liar . Doesn't not communicate well at all . She lies about when she schedules you appointments . Gets times mixed up just horrible ! If I could give 0 stars I would just because of the receptionist . The actual dentist that work on your teeth are nice but the receptionist is very sarcastic when she speaks and has a "know it all tone in her voice" .
