Adra Adra has been a Dental Assistant with our team since 1995. She loves what she does and says that helping people achieve better oral health is tremendously satisfying! When Adra is away from the office, she enjoys watching her daughter play soccer and being a major part of her daughters life!

Celina Celina is a 20 year Navy Retired Veteran, with a Bachelors of Science Business Studies in Human Resource Management, an Associates of Applied Science in Dental Assisting, and an Associates of Arts in Business Management, Celina is our Front Office Coordinator and joined our team in February 2013. Celina is the mother of two grown boys, a current Navy sailor and the other was recently married. She also enjoys going on adventures with her boyfriend and his daughter. In her off time, she makes custom cakes, loves doing crafts, and spending time with her family and her two dogs Bella and Charlie.

Christy A Registered Dental Hygienist with our practice since 2008. She graduated from Old Dominion University in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Christy enjoys her job and the time she spends with patients helping and educating them about dental care. She strives to make sure every patient is as comfortable as possible. Christy enjoys spending time with her husband, their sweet baby boy and the rest of her family! She also enjoys cheering for her familys favorite team, Duke. (:

Esther Esther graduated from Bob Jones University in 2013 with a BA in Arts & Communication. In 2016 she entered into the field of dentistry, receiving training and experience as a dental assistant in Alaska. She joined our front desk team in February 2017 after moving to Virginia. She enjoys making patients feels welcome and relaxed as they enter our office, while also answering any questions and concerns they may have. Outside of the office, she enjoys working on photography and various art projects, as well as working out with her husband and spending time with their pets.

Madi Madi knew she wanted to be a dental hygienist as a little girl when her dentist told her she had luscious teeth. She stays true to her northern roots in Pennsylvania, while southern living in Virginia has allowed her to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. She loves the opportunity to meet new patients, help relate oral hygiene to their lifestyle, and most importantly make smiles brighter each day. Outside of the office, you will most likely find her at the beach or spending time with friends.

Kristina Kristina is a Southeastern Ohio native. She sailed to Virginia when she married into the Navy. Kristina and her husband have two rescue pups, Nova and Nala. She enjoys hiking and horseback riding. Kristina is excited to grow in the dental field and cant wait to meet yall!

Genevieve Gen is a native of Virginia Beach, VA and currently resides in Suffolk with her husband and her three boys. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors in Science in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She loves helping her patients improve their oral health and enjoys making a personal connection. Outside the office, she loves cooking, traveling, boating and spending time with her family and friends.

Kai Kais hometown is Portsmouth, where she was raised her entire life. She attended I.C. Norcom High School where she met her dear husband. After high school, she attended Old Dominion University where she studied Marine Biology. Her experiences in life led her to discover how much she enjoys helping people and working in a social environment. She hopes to make every patient feel at ease and cared for in our office while also spreading kindness and love to all the staff. In her free-time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband as they watch their daughter grow.

Kindra With a Bachelors of Science in Health Care Management, Kindra joined our team as our Office Manager in December 2013. Kindra enjoys working with our team and our patients in a relaxed family atmosphere. In her free time Kindra loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter. They enjoy traveling, camping, skiing, and hiking with their two dogs Jax and Neo.

Tara With over fifteen years of dental experience, Tara works as our Insurance Coordinator. Tara holds a degree in Equestrian Science from Lake Erie College in Ohio. Raised on a horse farm, she has cultivated a love for horses from the beginning. Outside of the office, Tara enjoys spending time with her husband and their 2 dogs. They like to lounge in their pool, go to the beach, and horseback ride!

Vicki A Navy Veteran who is currently serving in the Reserves, she is a Magna Cum Laude graduate from ECPI University with an Associates Degree in Applied Science (concentration Dental Assisting ). She also has an Associates Degree in Arts (concentration in Meteorology) from Thomas Edison State College. Vicki has been a member of our team since November 2014 and is passionate about educating patients on the importance of great oral health. When she isnt working, she likes to spend time with her two girls, working out, and getting creative with arts and crafts.

Emily Emily was born and raised in Richmond, VA. She moved to the area to attend Old Dominion University and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene. Emily is enthusiastic and motivated to help patients achieve their oral health goals and a healthier smile. Before her career in dental hygiene, Emily taught sailing on the Rappahannock River for five years. She also enjoys spending time with her loving family and traveling to new places!

Sara Sara was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. She graduated from Western Branch High school in 2006 and Old Dominion University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Dental Hygiene. She currently resides in Churchland with her husband Josh, two children Winnie and Jude, and dogs Simon and Zeke. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, being outdoors and decorating her home year-round. She has a passion for providing patients with the best preventative dental hygiene care and instruction to improve their oral homecare and overall health.

Megan Megans roots are Chesapeake, VA, where she graduated from Great Bridge High School, then later received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University in May 2009. Megan is passionate about her patients and loves taking care of their dental hygiene needs. Her goal is to help patients improve their oral health, ultimately improving their overall health. Megan loves God and her family. She married her high school, sweetheart, Cory, June 2010, and they are enjoying this time raising their three beautiful, young, children.

Kelly Kelly was born and raised in Portsmouth, VA. She is a graduate of I.C. Norcom High School and ECPI University. She became a Dental Assistant because she loves helping people and seeing them smile! She loves dance and spending time with her loving daughter and husband in her free time!

Brooke Brooke was born and raised in Virginia Beach. She dedicated herself and time to graduating high school early for an early start on her college journey while also diving into her future career field. Brooke has a strong passion and interest in dentistry as well as its specialties. Due to having an inspiring and life changing dentist and orthodontist involved in her adolescence, Brooke cares to bring others the joy she felt while helping them achieve knowledge and proper care on their oral health. Brooke is excited to go as far as possible with her passion and skills. Outside of the office she enjoys new adventures, traveling, reading, and yoga. Spending time with family, cooking, and looking for a new challenge is how Brooke spends her free time.

Dr. Steven Carroll graduated from the University of Virginia and the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry; and the American, Virginia, Tidewater, and Christian Dental Associations. Dr. Carroll enjoys living and working in Portsmouth, where he has lived and practiced family dentistry since 1988. His father, Dr. Clyde Carroll, began the practice in 1969, and it continues to thrive since his retirement in 1998. Outside of work, you can find Dr. Steve Carroll and his wife Lisa spending time outdoors, biking, jet-skiing, visiting with family and friends, and exploring new coffee shops wherever they go! They especially love spending time with their two adult children, Wesley and Jessalin, and their wonderful spouses.

A native of Portsmouth, graduated from the College of William and Mary in 1991, with a BA in Art History. She went on to the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry from which she graduated in 1995. Her following year was spent completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Alperin enjoys the trusting relationships she has developed with many patients over the years, as well as all aspects of general dentistry. She joined our practice in 1996. Dr. Alperin has been married 22 years to her husband Scott, and they also have 2 amazing children Noah and Zoey and a sweet dog named Oliver.

A 2010 graduate of Christopher Newport University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology, she went on to earn her doctorate degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2015. She is thrilled to be a part of this practice and serve the people in her home area. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Tidewater Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is a Christian and loves spending time with her family, including her husband, Robbie, their daughter, Kayleigh and their dog, Buddy. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, camping and crafting.

A native of Chesapeake, Virginia and a graduate of Western Branch High School, Dr. Jason Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Old Dominion University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 2020. Dr. Lawrence is passionate about all aspects of general dentistry and is thrilled to have returned home to serve his community. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, the Tidewater Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, distance running and serving with his church.
