Drosinski Dental was founded by Dr. Joellen Drosinski in 2016, when she purchased the practice, at 1439 Wyoming Avenue, from Dr. Howard Wimmer. This practice has a long history of providing exceptional dental care with a compassion and enthusiasm for restoring dental health in a comfortable environment since 1988.
Dr. Drosinski is a 1994 graduate of West Scranton Junior High School. She then attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy in 1999. Her dental education was completed at Howard University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Drosinski is an active member of the Academy of General Dentists, the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Scranton District Dental Society. She believes strongly in continuing her training and education through these organizations, to provide her patients with the newest and most advanced techniques in dentistry.
Elise has 12 years of clinical experience as a dental hygienist. She is a graduate of Scranton High School and continued her education at Luzerne County Community College where she earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science. Upon graduation, she relocated to Philadelphia for 8 years and then Denver, CO for 2 years before moving back to the Scranton area to be closer to her family.
Rina joined Drosinski Dental in 2020 her first year as a dental assistant in the dental field. She has a background in the nursing field as a CNA, EKG, and phlebotomy technician. Prior to her experience in the healthcare field, Rina spent eight years as an early childhood educator working with children from ages 6-12.
Kayla has six years of dental hygiene experience. She is a graduate of Lakeland High School and continued her education at Fortis Institute in Scranton to earn an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene.
Chris has been in the dental field for 29 years. She began her dental career as a Dental Lab Tech before she grew into her role as an exceptional Dental Assistant. Chris enjoys every minute of her profession and is passionate about keeping up on all the latest in dental trends.
She grew up in Scott Township, then left the area where she lived in Las Vegas with her 2 beautiful daughters and granddaughter. Chris recently moved back to Newton Ransom with her boyfriend and his 4 crazy daughters.
Jocelyn was born and raised in Florida, but moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania at a young age. She has a background in the medical field and started working in the dental field because she has a passion for helping people. Jocelyn is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Rick graduated from Dunmore High School and earned an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Johnson College. He resides in Moscow with his wife, Dr. Joellen and their two children, Anthony and Mira. He enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, hiking, biking, swimming, running, golf and spending time with family and friends.

Phenomenal first impression and experience from the door to the chair. I was very grateful for the attention to certain needs such as PTSD. It was a fantastic experience. They communicated so well, outlined the care and cost. And I loved having a female dentist. I'm a super anxious patient and this was a great experience for me. I'll be back in 30 days!

i'm generally terrified of the dentist for a multitude of reasons. they were such a great facility between staff and dr herself. i've never really felt relieved after a dentist appointment before, safe to say i'll be back, and referring others. :)

2-3 minute wait. Thorough communication. Came for a second opinion and got a much better understanding of what was going on and what needed to be done. Transparent about insurance and prices. This is the place to go.

I'd just gone through the worst dental care situations possible before going to Dr. Drosinski's office. I was nervous because of my past experiences, but I didn't need to be at all. The staff were super friendly and engaging, and they took very good care of me. Ever since then, I actually look forward to going to my dentist appointments.

Best dental experience of my life! It was the first time in my 33 years that I left the dentist not sore or bleeding from my gums. I also have never received such a through cleaning and exam! Beautiful office and wonderful helpful staff! Would recommend this office to anyone looking for a great experience at the dentist!

I was extremely anxious about my visit due to the fact I haven't been to see a dentist in over 13 years and I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. The ENTIRE staff put me at ease from moment I walked in the door. They broke down a good plan for me, and explained absolutely everything to me from what the visit would look like to the details of what they found. They put a plan together and helped me start to execute it right at the front desk afterwards. As a worrier, I left my appt knowing that I have found my forever dentist. Dr. Drosinski is by far the best dentist I've ever been to. I was experiencing pain tonight and she was kind enough to fit me into her schedule. My procedure was as painless as possible and she took the time to explain everything to me. She truly went above and beyond.
